Ajax,
Yes the IGP responded – a startling revelation that Hindraf is trying “to solicit help and support from terrorist groups and set up a fund by deceiving the people to fund their activities” And lastly “also cheated the Indians who attended the illegal gathering when they did not hand in the petition”

I hope uthayakumar will tell why he did not fight for the malay and indian houses also demolished on the same day next to the temple? and also he said the surau was relocated, maybe he can give facts where was it relocated and so on . As far as I know , the surau was not relocated and the houses alaos no alternative houses were given. If you go to tha area; Kampung Rimba Jaya ( were the Padang Jawa temple was demolished) some people who have no houses to go are still living there in a tent. So in Kampung berembang where 70 malay families, houses demolished by this same UMNO govt . This is just the tip of the iceberg. The issue here is this Barisan NAsional Government is not against Indians only, it is against all poor people no matter Malay, Indian or Chinese. And let me tell you, no one , again I am stressing no one is helping them , not even UMNO or MCa or anyone . So let's go down and unite and fight for the rights of all people no matter race or religion. Plse think. We are all Malaysians.

MP: its like a game. Now since hindraf has given the interview, we shall see some response from the "other side". perhaps more intimidation and attempts to divert the attention. for example, I'm curious about who highlighted the words "ethnic cleansing" and made everyone reach for the memorandum. if nothing was mentioned, many people would not even bother and hindraf news will be forgotten within days. Now, there's attempted murder case against 31 people. more coverage. yet, there news that newspapers are asked to "reduce coverage" on hindraf and police mistreatment. as it is said, "the world is a stage and all of us are actors". i think support for hindraf among the indian community is very strong (in a silent way) and will be seen in the next election. Changing name, well up to them. why don't you suggest to them? :)

I certainly hope that this interview has cleared the air of all the lingering doubts & questions that some may have on the fight of HINDRAF..albeit I feel that HINDRAF should consider changing their name to symbolise that they fight for the rights of ethnic Indians a whole without any emphasis to religion.. May be INDIAN ACTION FORCE (INDAF).. Just a suggestion. Mr.Poobalan any comment?
