Poobalan

I think we are suffering for collective amnesia...

I remember very clearly that the Padang Jawa temple was asked to vacate by the High Court after 2 years of hearing. After exhausing all the legal avenues, MBSA acted to demolish it. So you cannot say SV or Khir are responsible as in front of the law the temple was illegal and has no standing. They were just challenging the law. They were allocated a place to move and $$ to re-built which was squandered by the temple management.

So you cannot say Khir gave the order to demolish or MBSA acted illegally. You cannot blame Samy as he had tried his best to stop it but he couldn't. Yet people blamed him for that.

However, under PR, they have promised to legitimate these illegal temples and NOT demolish it. It might be that MPAJ acted alone, we never know since there is so much spin being spun by PR govt. BTW how come the 2 Indian councellors don't know what's happening in their own area and up today did not speak up at all ? What's the point of them being in the council if they don't know what's going or dare not to speak up ?

But the big question is why people like Xavier is blaming the temple and talking about administrative issues like correct format ? And why is he calling this a small matter and says MPAJ is correct in their action ?

Bro,

At that time no one blamed MBSA for the demolishment but accused Khir Toyo and SV...otherwise why HINDRAF had demonising both of them ?

I would suggest you to refresh you memory...

Anyway thanks for the joke Killer..... i had a good laugh...

During Padang Jawa temple demolition, it was a clear cut case of the arrogance of Khir Toyo. Samy Vellu begged also nothing happened. Please don't say that no one did not blame MBSA. I blamed MBSA, along with Toyo. The culprits included the state secretary, the enforcement unit of MBSA, the MIC people, and of course Toyo. Remember, who ordered the MBSA to demolish it? Who stood by doing NOTHING? Can we compare that with current issue where MBAJ acted by itself, giving no respect to the state government and the two Indians in local council also not informed?

Please note that prior to Padang Jawa issue, MIC have been telling no temples will be demolished, but month in month out, we get news of temple demolishment. There were "guidelines" and "committees" but nothing happens.

The current state government is fast enough to start to rectify the problem - suspending the MPAJ vice president, and starting investigation. Why not give them a bit of time? Let's say two weeks or one month to solve this problem. After that, we can start shouting.

I guess this is Anwar's Deepavalli gift, thanks very much Datuk Seri for teaching us stupid Indians a lesson...now we know that after using us to get votes we have been discarded like used banana leafs

'fail to act' and 'act to fail' will equally bring damage . The subsequent events will show the creditability of the MPs.
The State should hold MPAJ full responsible . It's president cant say i'm away so im innocent . It cant work that way . If that's the case than it shows there are bunch of 'unofficial' presidents within whom have authority to act .
19yrs of not being registered ??? sounds very stupid .
Again and again what happened to the effort of MHS to legalize temples which started sometime ago ....?
