Earlier, I wrote about the possible candidates for MIC for the coming election. News is out that the candidates are finalised. I received SMS from my sources stating below. the names in bracket is the current MP/ADUN:
Surprising to see Komala and Devamany still in. Popular suggestion was they will be out. However I think SV knows that if remove Devamany, whatever good name MIC has will be gone. Komala was 50-50, but I think her good work and effort pull her in. The expected faces – Saravanan, Mohan and Murugesan are in, but no VelPaari.
3 state leaders are gone – Saravanan (Kedah), Rajoo (Perak), Raghavan (Malacca), while two retire – Johor and Penang.
Total of 9 Parliment seats – 2 new (2/9 = 22.2% new faces)
