Hope no more threats will be issued like what Vigneswaran did. This crisis may be temporarily covered up by Samy, but the tremors will still be there, waiting to erupt at the right time. Is removing Rajaendran the solution?

to resolve Negri conflict

SEREMBAN: president Datuk Seri S. is expected to put an end to the conflicts between several youth and party leaders in Negri Sembilan.
It is learnt that state youth chief R. Rajaendran had met last week over an earlier memorandum in which several division youth chiefs had asked that state chief Datuk T. Rajagopalu be removed, claiming that he had done little for the community. The memorandum stated that while the youth wing supported ’s leadership, they wanted Rajagopalu removed as he had not lived up to the expectations of the Indian community and had failed to discharge his duties.

Sources said had called for a meeting of all youth division chiefs and Rajagopalu at his residence tomorrow, where he is expected to make a decision.

On Sunday, the party’s national youth chief, S.A. Vigneswaran met Rajagopalu and three of the eight youth division leaders. He warned the youth leaders that they would be sacked if they continued issuing statements to the press about problems within the state .

During the general election, the state lost two of the three parliamentary and state seats it contested. Rajagopalu lost the Port Dickson state seat.

Rajagopalu said yesterday the divisions in the state were expected to pass a vote of no confidence against Rajaendran soon as it was against party’s principles for the youth wing to take action that could tarnish ’s image. “The youth wing must comply with the state leadership. They cannot simply take matters into their own hands and issue statements. Problems must be voiced through proper channels. “The division leaders were not even informed about any problem and they are upset that this matter has suddenly been blown up. They now want Rajaendran either to be expelled or leave the party.”
