Swearing-in request rejected

source

KLANG: The Internal Security Ministry has rejected an application for detainee and Kota Alam Shah state assemblyman M. Manoharan to attend the swearing-in ceremony to take his oath of office.

“No, I will not attend the ceremony because the Internal Security Ministry has rejected my wife’s application for my presence,” he said in a statement.

Manoharan’s wife S. Pushpaneela said she had submitted an application to the Kamunting detention camp director on March 21 to allow her husband to be present at the swearing-in ceremony for state assemblymen.

I am not sure what these people have expected ? You are already under ISA and by taking the oath, what can you do ? A big fat ZERO. It is all drama like some bad Kollywood serial.

People have made the choice and if they are willing to put up with someone under ISA, then it is their choice. I am sure people knew what to expect. Asking Mano to be freed or allowed to be released for oath taking is plain idiocy.

People of Kota Alam Shah, good luck ! You voted with emotion and principle so now you have to live with your decision.

Vampire says, “Padan Muka”. Yeah, I am sure Killi will turun padang and help the people of Kota Alam Shah.

If these people are stupid enough to elect an ISA detainee, then they deserve to be not serviced too.
