The ignorance of Indians is the key for our conditions. If you recollect Gone Vellu and Khir Toyo statement earlier the land and money has been allocated earlier. That means authorisation has been given. If Khir Toyo was MB then under pressure he would have done exactly same.Khalid as the new MB just proceeded with it. But WHAT else he did. He could asked someone or ADUN to oversee the construction or keep an eye to ensure that temple is built.

Now who said temple construction cost RM40k, Does Khalid or Indians know what u get for this amount. Dont believe me go ask around. Maybe we can get the basic foundation thats all. Drains renovation in one of the temple in Negri recently cost RM25k. The demolished temple was in pretty good condition, I value at RM300k plus.

Watch my words, If no funding comes then I am sure it will take many many years before we collect donation through public and kumbabishegam to build a proper temple. If this is the case with most noted one, what’s the fate of others.

Toyo made the promise, Khalid made it happen. i dont see anything wrong in it. it is his responsibility to make it happen. plus he didnt make any claim saying it only happened becoz he became MB.

all he did was to make sure we receive what has been promised to us.

regarding the lack of fund to rebuild the temple, im sure the new MB wouldnt mind if we collect some fund on our own to build the temple better.

Granted that the new government will need some time to settle down and formulate new strategies/policies. For that, the people can give them some leeway. However, things like misleading the public should be rebuked. The state secretary/mayor must clarify their statement. Sometimes, this can be even a media mistake - they hear one thing, but write something else.

Samy Vellu did mention that he will raise some funds. I hope that the 40K is just for the temple, even though it is not enough. A separate amount should be given for the kindergarten.

Indians need to form a body to watch what the BR governments are doing for Indians. This does not seem to be a good start and Khalid has actually misled and cheated. RM40000, what can you built for this amount. A small decent temple cost RM 400000 - 500000, why the Selangor government didnt give any financial assistance. Are the temple committee members aware and capable enough to manage. So many questions and a lot of work to do. Poobalan we need a way forward.
