Poll results for Shah Alam Section 19 temple issue

This is the results of the poll that ran in this blog from September 4 till September 15. Total of 104 people voted. More than half said it should remain at the current location, while 8 respondents said it should be demolished! About 39% suggested relocation in one way or another.

What solution is the best for Shah Alam Section 19 Mariamman Temple?

  • Leave the 120 year old temple as it is in the middle of the housing area. (53%, 55 Votes)
  • Relocate to other areas within Shah Alam, if can find a suitable spot. (16%, 17 Votes)
  • Relocate to Section 23 light industrial area, about 200 meters from houses and surau (15%, 16 Votes)
  • Just demolish the temple! (8%, 8 Votes)
  • Relocate to Section 22 heavy industries area, away from houses, as proposed in original plan (4%, 4 Votes)
  • Relocate to other areas in Selangor, if can find a suitable spot. (4%, 4 Votes)
