I think the police were taking precaution since similar things happened on November 25 2007. However, they should have taken some effort to verify the authenticity of the trip and the passengers, instead of keeping them detained for 8 hours. Wow, didn’t know police can be blocked by gangsters. 10 versus hundreds still can win…like Tamil film! Police with tear gas and water cannons, armed with guns and batons, thwarted by gangsters? Wonder what the gangsters had? Maybe black magic
