At about 5.45pm, there were shouts of &#8220;gaduh, gaduh&#8221; (fight, fight) and some patrons went out to catch the action.<\/p>\n<p>When I went out, there were 8 DBKL staff, 2 policemen, a patrol car, and a plump Chinese guy with torn t-shirt. One of the policemen was writing down something, while about 40 onlookers were crowding the area.<\/p>\n<p>From what I gathered from eye witnesses,\u00a0 3 DBKL officers came and were writing summons for those shops that left their garbage outside their premises along the road. The Chinese guy (from one of the shops) argued why they only summoned his shop while ignoring others. It seems the DBKL guys called him to go to back alley, and then can hear people fighting, chairs smashed. Many people witnessed this. Not sure when the other 5 DBKL people came into the picture.<br \/>\nThe chinese guy then called the police and dared the DBKL staff to stay there till the police came.
