This is a damaging statement to HINDRAF. They better clarify this remarks<\/a> from Ms Vickneswary, wife of one of the 5 HINDRAF ISA detainees, Vasantha Kumar.<\/p>\n

I am both disappointed and saddened as I have been left in the lurch
\nand receive no help or moral support from my husband\u2019s Hindraf
\ncounterparts<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

She claims that her most of husband’s Hindraf friends have abandoned her and her two daughters. According to her, other than Ganabathirau\u2019s brother V. Raidu, none of the people currently
\nfront-lining Hindraf had called or visited her. She finds it difficult to travel to Kamunting every weekend on her own, with two kids on tow.<\/p>\n

According to Vickneswary, her husband was also disappointed
\nwhen she told him that only one or two of his Hindraf friends\u2019 had
\nbothered to find out how she and their two children were doing.<\/p>\n

Vickneswary
\nalso said she was not receiving any financial aid from Hindraf and
\nadded that she sometimes felt that her husband\u2019s efforts and sacrifices
\nwere in vain.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Vasantha Kumar’s house also went under auction recently<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I await their reply.<\/p>\n

HINDRAF had clarified<\/a> recently that they are not collecting any funds.<\/p>\n

If we can remember, Vasantha was the one who was pressured<\/a> by the police to admit to collecting money to fund terrorist activities. But Vasantha lodged a police report saying he was pressured to do so..<\/p>\n
