Obviously, many Hindu would have better things to do than make a beeline to PWTC especially between 10am and 1pm today. So, I wonder how the crowd was. One thing for sure, there was no &#8220;gate-crashers&#8221; or &#8220;unruly&#8221; behaviour from the visitors.<\/p>\n<p>The Star said this year&#8217;s Deepavali was a <a href=\"http:\/\/thestar.com.my\/news\/story.asp?file=\/2008\/10\/27\/nation\/20081027165032&amp;sec=nation\">modest<\/a> affair. NST <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nst.com.my\/Current_News\/NST\/Sunday\/NewsBreak\/20081027120425\/Article\/index_html\">attributed<\/a> this partly due to the weather and flood (especially in the Northern states).<\/p>\n<p>Some photos are shown <a href=\"http:\/\/minaq-jinggo.fotopages.com\/?entry=1715235\">here<\/a>, taken fron Jinggo&#8217;s collection.<\/p>\n<p>By the way, I find that people get confused easily between Hindus and Indians. Not all Indians celebrate Deepavali because its a religious festival. Even politicians and leaders get confused easily.
