Even though he was called a school boy, and being investigated by his own party president, Murugiah still maintain his cool. I guess he thinks that Kayveas’ days are numbered.<\/p>\n

Murugiah also checkmates future attacking moves by announcing that PM Badawi himself praised him<\/a>. So Kayveas, Saravanan, Syed Hamid etc. can keep their less-than-smart and annoying comments to themselves. Only that there’s a small matter of getting endorsement from PM-in-waiting.<\/p>\n

Deputy Minister in Prime Minister\u2019s Department Senator T. Murugiah,
\nwhose aggressiveness in overseeing the Public Complaints Bureau has
\nlanded him in trouble with his party boss, claims he has been praised
\nby the Prime Minister.Murugiah, who is the PPP Youth chief,
\nsaid he recently received a call from Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi
\nto see him in Parliament.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was on medical leave then. When I
\nmet him, he praised me and said I was doing a good job (with the
\nbureau). What more do you want?\u201d he told reporters after chairing a
\nmeeting between residents in Kg Pandan and City Hall authorities at his
\noffice yesterday.<\/p>\n

Adding
\nthat he had \u201cno issue\u201d with Kayveas, Murugiah said he had met the
\nlatter on Monday and that \u201che had then said nothing about the letter\u201d
\nto him.<\/p>\n
