Pandithan said.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They will have to decide their own future. It is they who form the party, and they are the base and the rock,&#8221; he said, adding that the 17-year-old party would not crumble without him.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>Pandithan, who has been in frail health for the past one year, said he would leave his future in the party in the hands of the members.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I will continue if they still want me. There is some balance outstanding over the purchase of the building. &nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I want to settle everything and hand over the party to able people without any liabilities,&#8221; he said.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>On the patching up of ties with MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu, he said it was done for the betterment of the Indian community.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If the two parties join forces, we would be able to get the majority of the Indian votes for Barisan Nasional in the coming general election, as proven in the Ijok by-election,&#8221; he said.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile IPF Youth chief R. Ravi Shanker said there was no question of dissolution of the party.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The president has asked us to consolidate and strengthen at the ground. &nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He wants us to recruit more youths.
