I&#8217;m awake and watching Tv3 Nightline.<\/p>\n<p>It was &#8220;just another day&#8221; for me. I stopped celebrating the new year in the spiritual or religious sense. Its just another date which has legal implication &#8211; age calculation, taxation, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Had the luxury of waking up at 10.50 am (nope, no late night out for me), went out for early lunch, and spent the next few hours shopping for garden things.<\/p>\n<p>Had a bowl of cendol on the way back, and burnt some calories doing gardening till 8pm(that&#8217;s 4 hours of sweat, with in between Sunquick orange thirst quenching).<\/p>\n<p>Had late dinner (oopps, the calories increased!) and read a bit of James Rollins&#8217; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Judas-Strain-Novel-James-Rollins\/dp\/0060763892\" target=\"_blank\">The Judas Strain<\/a>, took Remo for a walk (haaa&#8230;lost some more calories there!), and watched the last one hour of Kalloori movie.<\/p>\n<p>Now, watching the TV3 coverage on Mike Manikavasagam&#8217;s rebellion being analysed by Mike Tyson Mohamad Mohamad Taib, and Sementa Assemblyman Pahalil. Hmmm&#8230;there&#8217;s a dozen articles to read before I blog about Manikavasagam (I hear you, Killer).<\/p>\n<p>Day 8 of holiday ended. Ahh&#8230;time flies.<\/p>\n<p>So, how was your first day of 2009?
