Today, I attended the first year thithi prayers for <a href=\"http:\/\/poobalan.com\/blog\/personal\/2008\/03\/04\/farewell-valluvan\/\" target=\"_blank\">Valluvan<\/a>. Can&#8217;t really believe its been a year. Others couldn&#8217;t make it due to various reason, so I guess I kind of represented the rest. Managed to find my way to Temiang after asking for directions from Suraj.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sometimes I do think of him. Some people do have that effect. I&#8217;m reminded of his antics and his selfless actions, especially when I&#8217;m in the same situation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Morbidly, I was thinking of death only today. I guess these prayers also serve to remind us of our mortality, lest we grow egoistic or too big for our shoes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sometimes, we are amazed by how fast time flies by.
