Now is BHP&#39;s turn. <\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>All can apply to operate BHPetrol service stations now<\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/thestar.com.my\/news\/story.asp?file=\/2007\/9\/12\/nation\/20070912140531&amp;sec=nation\">source<\/a><\/div>\n<p>By HAH FOONG LIAN<\/p>\n<p><b>IPOH<\/b>: Boustead Holdings Petrol (BHPetrol) has withdrawn one of the application criteria to operate its service stations, saying that effective immediately all races can apply.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>A spokesman said the company has removed the condition stating that only bumiputra people could apply to operate its service stations.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>However, the spokesman declined to elaborate why the requirement had been on its website in the first place.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>Earlier yesterday, DAP Socialist Youth chief Nga Kor Ming told reporters that he had received numerous complaints that non-bumiputras were not considered for a licence to operate a service station.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<div>He added that the company should consider the application based on merit and not race.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier, it was Shell.
