Recently, the newspaper carried an article quoting a minister as saying that families with household income of RM6500 is considered affluent (meaning official government criteria – not play play one).<\/p>\n
Let's assume that household here refers to a family of 4 or 5 person (parents + 2\/3 children). 20 foreigners living under one roof, 10 college students sharing an apartment, 3 expats sharing a condo, etc, we would not consider. <\/p>\n
