Hmm….looks like end of the chapter for Alex. Maybe he waiting for party leaders to sack him so that can jump ship to PKR/DAP soon?

Anyways, Samy is still on his nationwide roadshow agenda to brainwash the community. There’s even a new slogan now - New Generation Party! Well, for starters, there should be a rule making those aged 70 and above to retire gracefully or forcefully. Ooops..that means Samy himself!

KLANG, WED:

The dictatorship in must stop immediately; otherwise the party is doomed to meet its end soon.  The party’s Klang division chief Alex Thiagarasan made this strong call saying enough was enough and that it was time for Indians to regain control of the party and bring back its glory days.

“It used to be a party many Indians were proud of but now many seem like they are ashamed to even associate themselves with the party.”

He said this was the sad state of affairs in the party and blamed it all on party president Datuk Seri S. , who had been helming the party for almost 30 years. He added that the party had degenerated into a one-man show.
“How can a party survive like this?”

Thiagarasan, who contested for a vice-president in the party’s last elections, said Samy was always talking about unity and cooperation but people who slogged for the party were almost always forgotten.

Meanwhile, president Datuk Seri S. will announce major changes to the party’s structure with a new tagline - the New Generation Party today.  In a press statement, said would hold road shows throughout the country as part of the party’s re-branding exercise. “We aim to create new values, systems and working orders for the members. The will need to reposition and remain politically viable,” he said, adding that the re-branding was necessary to refresh the party’s image and better position it in the people’s mind.

also said that the will also hold workshops at branches and that these visits will give the party leaders an opportunity to touch base with the members and the grassroots.

said that the need to create a common sense of purpose and unified identity, building members; morale and pride as well as a way of attracting new talent or even a way of testing its relevancy.
