Valluvan Danapalan
8 December 1974 – 4 March 2008
This is the guy who will make funny Mr Bean faces. Dance awkwardly. Sing all kinds of local songs. Just to irritate us in the name of entertainment.
This is the guy who spent his free time in campus, not in pubs or shopping centres, but among school students and spiritual centres.
This is the guy who helped out in Tamil schools, and later secondary schools. Probably thousands of students have seen him, touched by him. Some are graduating soon.
This is the guy, who initiated BMPS with others in Skudai.
This is the guy, with his trusted two-wheeler Letchumi, who got us food while in campus.
This is a guy who did not neglect his studies. Doing his Masters, until God decided otherwise.
This is the guy, who defeated his Yaman once.
This is the guy, respected by his employers, colleagues and friends.
This is the guy, who had his friends concerns deep in his heart.
This is the guy, who lives in the “white house” – where there rest of us like to crash and mess up.
The guy who does not mince his word, does not tolerate time wasting, single-minded and focused, but one who can take it easy when needed too. A cool head when things are heated up.
This is the guy, who even in his demise, afforded a smile.
This is the guy who was motionless, deep in eternal sleep, having moved on. Not responding to my tears.
How I wish I had spent more time with you.
God Bless you Valluvan. May you have a better next life.
I won’t be online until Thursday.
I knew him as one of my senior’s boyfriend. A very quiet guy. It’s funny how some souls are being taken away earlier than others. May God bless his journey with petals of roses and more unworldly love!!
