it seems KIMMA (Indian Muslim Party) has decided to join PPP after being blocked from joining BN for so long. They need more clout to fight their causes, especially things like the removal of “indian muslim” race from the IC by Registration Dept . I’m no expert in race/ethnic studies, but i think there’s no such race called “indian muslim”. definitely the religion part does not make up a race in modern times.

As it is they enjoy almost all the benefits of the bumiputras. Just because they are Muslims, do they want to relinquish their ethnic identity as Indians.
There is no such race as Indian Muslims. Indians can be followers of any number of religious affliations but they are first and foremost Indians.
You can’t delete your ethnicity by conversion. You may discard your culture and traditions in favour of the religion of choice. However, anything is possible in Bolehland.
KIMMA should approach TDM to find out how he managed to become a Malay and join UMNO when his biological father was an Indian from the State of Kerala in India.
Follow the same route and you may even become PM one day!
