Subscribe in a reader | Subscribe by Email THE MIC wants the Government to scrap Remove Class for Tamil and Chinese school pupils, saying these classes are no longer relevant under the current education system.In a letter to Education Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, the party urged him to take steps to abolish these classes, reported Tamil Nesan.
MIC information chief Datuk M. Saravanan called on the minister to review the system based on feedback from the Indian community.
According to him, the status of remove classes should be reviewed because they had become redundant as Science and Mathematics are now being taught in English.
MIC should do this a long time ago..
