Ghee Thosai
Was in Klang last weekend, and decided to have breakfast at Saravana Bhavan restaurant, near the bridge at Jalan Tengku Kelana.
The place was quiet with little crowd. We (2 person) had:
1 set of poori (2)
1 set of idli (2)
1 vadai
1 ghee thosai
1 masala tea
1 Bru coffee
total cost was RM20.90, which is about 40% (RM8) more expensive than normal restaurants.
de tosai bigger than u lah, anne!!..lol..lol
Hehehe…looks like that! But it managed to fit into my stomach!

I had tried the food in SB in Klang and I must say that it is a lot better than the PJ Branch (near the HSBC Bank). But the food in Malaysia is so much inferior to their branches in India (tried their breakfast and lunch in Chennai’s 2 branches).
But the food here in SB Klang is nothing special as compared to other local Indians restaurants while being significantly more expensive. Though the decor and the ambience being much better, the price is not justifiable.
However, some of the sweets are really good though pricey. I also think their location (opposite Ajuntha) is not a good choice.
Yeah, i too think their Chennai branch food is better.
Their location is troublesome too, not easy to find.
Looks good, I wonder how the banana leaf rice will be at that restaurant… its been ages since i had a real good banana leaf meal..
The Sarvana Bhavan in klang is closed down, wonder what happen….
closed? i didn’t notice that last weekend. maybe can’t sustain the cost?
