poobalan says:
ya, you should! 🙂 try to make for the kumbabishegam, but if you want to have some peace, then weekdays are the best.
i’ll suggest this temple to everyone. its in our own backyard, so we should make an effort to visit it.
Pathma says:
MP: it is still on that day.
Hi
Nice pictures… I’m interested in making a trip to the temple for ‘kumbavishegam’… the last I heard it was supposedly on Jan 20, 2008. Do you know if it is on that day or has it been postponed?
thanx
cheers

Rama says:
– Alcohol is Narakasuran..
hi and hello there…
most probably you might not know this…
but anyway let me explain you some of what I get to know from Hinduism..
well do you know : NARAKASURAN is a TAMILAN…??
and all the the BAD CHARACTERS in HINDHU’S MYTH whom may described as NARAKASURAN, ALL ASURAS and RAWANA are TAMILAN..
and do you know all the GOOD CHARACTER in HINDHU’S MYTH is ARYANS(BRAHMIN)….??
ARYAN’S who can be described as RAMA,LAKSHMANA, and ARJUNA..
WE SHOULD NOT GET OUR TAMILS INSULTED BY QUOTING SUCH EXAMPLES…
PLEASE BE INFORMED…
THANK YOU..
poobalan says:
Hi,
I’m aware of such categorization of the characters in Ramayanam, which is still subject to questions. For me, that’s irrelevant since I’m linking the character Narakasuran with alcohol – both of which may be “good” in some way, but are detrimental to human. I did not say Alcohol is Tamilan, so this is not about insulting Tamils or Indians.
SIVAKUMAR says:
