IGAUPM 9th AGM and Dinner
Indian Graduates Association of Universiti Putra Malaysia (IGAUPM) will be having their 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on March 14th, 2009 (Saturday) at 6.30pm at Palm Garden Hotel, IOI Resort Putrajaya. This will be followed by a reunion dinner at 7.30pm. IGAUPM invites all our Indian graduates of UPM since 1974 to 2008 to join us in this fellowship dinner.
Our guest speaker for this year’s reunion dinner is Mr. Mathavan A. Chandran fondly known as Matt, graduated from UPM with a Bachelors Degree in Biochemistry & Chemistry. Matt is currently the Group CEO of INFOVALLEY Group of Companies (www.infovalley.net.my). Businesses of the group are structured into three main thrust areas, i.e. bioinformatics, biotechnologies and advanced medical informatics with subsidiaries in Bangalore, Bangkok and Jakarta. Matt and the INFOVALLEY Group have been
recipients of several awards, including Inventor of the Year Award.
