Its going to be tough, being detainees and having to fulfill his responsibilities to a community located nearly 300KM away. Its not impossible, just difficult. If he can pull it off (and I think he can), it will be a slap in the face for some people. With good support from his team and other ADUNs and MPs, Manoharan can keep in touch with his constituents. Kota Alam Shah voters hopefully will benefit from his service.

DAP Kota Alam Shah assemblyperson M Manoharan was sworn in at 9am today in front of Selangor Speaker Teng Chang Khim at the Kamunting detention camp in Taiping.

This is to inform that the swearing-in of YB M. Manoharan as the State Assemblyman of Kota Alam Shah, Selangor will take place on May 8th 2008 at Kamunting Detention Camp at 0900hrs in Perak where he is being held without trial for over 130 days even after winning in the 12th General Election of Malaysia. Please be there to cover this historic but sad & unfair treatment of a man who has democratically won an election but is still being held without trial by the Malaysian government, barring him from serving the needs of voters in his contituency.

April 26th, 2008Makkal Sakthi bought this people into power. And looks like the same will send them out. The grassroot are not interested in what Anwar or other top leaders say. They see their fellow Indians not given opportunity even though it is claimed to be equal opportunity coalition. Is it because the supporters or loyalist are not qualified? Or any other reasons?
