Zahid says can inform after convert

After the Syariah legal experts’ statement saying that prospective convert need not inform their families first, Minister in PM’s Dept in charge of Islamic Affairs, Ahmad Zahid says that the converts may ONLY need to inform AFTER converting! Nasi sudah jadi bubur (No point crying over spilt milk)! The issue is how to prevent all the dubious conversion cases and misuse of religion to the convert’s favor. No point doing it after conversion since the convert can hide behind syariah law and do as he/she please., causing more heartbreak for the abandoned spouse. » Read more: Zahid says can inform after convert

Manoharan to be sworn in at Kamunting on 8th May

Greetings of the day everyone..

This is to inform that the swearing-in of YB M. Manoharan as the State Assemblyman of Kota Alam Shah, Selangor will take place on May 8th 2008 at Kamunting Detention Camp at 0900hrs in Perak where he is being held without trial for over 130 days even after winning in the 12th General Election of Malaysia. Please be there to cover this historic but sad & unfair treatment of a man who has democratically won an election but is still  being held without trial by the Malaysian government, barring him from serving the needs of voters in his contituency.

JAKIM says no to convert informing kin

These comedians based their points on the fact that:

Based on Syariah laws, there is no nas (quotations from the Quran to prove or settle a point) compelling a person wishing to convert to Islam to inform the family before doing so

Now, since the person haven’t convert yet, since when did Syariah laws need to be refered to?  This is the problem when these guys meddle in something which is not in their territory yet. This kind of forum should be held by alls the non-Muslim legals experts so that can represent the true parties – the PROSPECTIVE converts (while awake or in comatose).

Ketuanan India anyone?

Good explanation by the PM. I’m sure when others come out with Ketuanan Jawa, Ketuanan Cina, Ketuanan India, Ketuanan Dayak etc., he will be supportive and appreciate the effort to make the respective races as “tuans”.

Err..if all become tuan, who is the coolie? The foreign workers?

I think that coolies should not be looked down since there won’t be masters without coolies/workers. Workers all around the world are acknowledged during Labor/Workers Day on May 1st.

So, MIC can start by announcing their Ketuanan India strategy to ensure Indians become masters, as the community have been in the coolie role since pre-independence days. » Read more: Ketuanan India anyone?

Well, when the party and its boss come under attack, more “truths” seem to appear. Now is Murugesan’s turn to tell his version of what happened at Padang Jawa on that fateful day. MIC would have tried to cover up this earlier to protect UMNO, but looks like their action is backfiring on them. Toyo is becoming a problem from BN, and maybe, just maybe, MIC have been set up to be UMNO’s henchmen to get rid of Toyo.
