UPDATE: Malaysiakini has written about it. It seems that the two guys were caught red-handed by ACA. Total of 6 people arrested and there’s element of sexual bribery (but not involving the EXCOs). DAP’s Ngeh cries foul play.

Yup, more problem for Perak government as two of its state EXCOs were arrested – Jamaluddin Mohd Radzi (Exco Pembangunan Usahawan, Koperasi, Pertanian dan Perdagangan) and Kapt (B) Osman Mohd Jailu (Exco Pelancongan, Pembangunan Insan dan NGO). Heard that third one on the way.

This seriously dents Permatang Pauh campaign for Anwar. Unless of course if PKR can say that the arrest is part of the state government’s actions of not tolerating graft.

PS: My phone line got mysteriously “switched” to another house for last 3 days. Got it fixed by our world class provider TM after 3 days, but now Internet connection down! If I didn’t know better, would have cried sabotage! As P Ramlee would say it – “cobaan” 🙂

Well for those in the know, this is hardly a surprise. I already mentioned that such things started weeks after PR came to power in all states ruled by them. Not just PKR but also DAP and in some cases PAS.

You might recall DAP leader caught for operating an illegal pub. Such this is so prevalent so quickly.

It is worse in Selangor, some of the top leaders are in cahoots with businessmen and have totally changed their pre-election stance. Whether it is for money or other gains I wouldn’t say.

It might be a surprise to know, but even Ronnie Liu and Teresa Kok are now actively supporting business interests rather than rakyat’s. I think in 5 years time, Selangor will the most over-developed state in Malaysia with businessmen running the state govt.
