People who talk about the significance of Obama’s victory obviously do not understand the US system or what really had happened.
In any case, it is just like having Dr M as PM since Obama is half-White. What is not going to happen is the blacks will be suddenly accepted as equal in the US and be equally prosperous as the whites.
The blacks in the US are even poorer than the recent immigrants from Asia like the Indians and the Chinese. Unless they change their attitude, not even Obama can change their fate.
And that goes to Malaysian Indians as well…
