Yup, you read that right. Pahang is the place to be for pensioners. The state government is offering jobs as bloggers to retirees. So, all datuk and nenek, please apply now! Benefits include Internet access at your homes.

Their jobs is to “thwart slanderous comments and allegations posted on the Internet.”

So, the number of professional bloggers (who blog for a living) will increase tremendously.

Blogging has done a lot and this is just one more cap in its feather. So Pahang is a good place to retire.
Seriously, I am not sure whether this is a good move by the Pahang govt or not. Dunno if I should laugh or cry.
    Hahaha!

      Hi Rocky,

I think its not a good move. Blogging in the real sense is related to one’s interest or passion. You “want” to blog. When it becomes a job, it takes a new meaning. Obviously, the bloggers will be pro-government. They will say only positive things. Will they speak their minds?

I think the state government might as well make use of its PRO staff to write comments and articles online. Why waste money hiring more people?
