Subscribe in a reader | Subscribe by Email MALACCA: Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam has rebuked Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) leaders for their “outrageous actions” and urged the Government to revoke their citizenship. He said Hindraf’s claim that the country was involved in ethnic cleansing was slanderous and very serious. “There is no such thing. They should be in jail for saying that,” he said at the launch of the Federation of Malay Economic Bodies (Gabem) southern region and Federal Territory here yesterday. Mohd Ali said he would fully support it if the Internal Security Act was used against those who organised the illegal Hindraf gathering. “They are going to send their memorandum to India, Britain and even the United Nations. These people are betraying their own country,” he added.
When we loose our citizenship,that is when hell would break loose on the Government. All the international media would highlight this with the headline” Citizenship revoked for fighting for rights”. That would not sound nice would it?
Even if you disagree, there is some hidden agenda going on which is master planned by the government.
If we are not marginalized, then i wonder why places where Indians were majorities, lots of low cost apartments sprouted out of nowhere and is occupied by majority Malay. Did the government find us such a threat for the past 50 years even though
we lead a peaceful life.
Malays can give racist remarks but when we protest
for our rights, we become the racist. I dont get the logic here.
The Melayu are a getting really bold now. Maybe its Rustam’s citizenship and the rest of the other Melayus that should be revoked and they packed on a boat and sent back to Sumetra
What a seditious statement…Is the Gomen going to charge him in court for this statement.I think not. Another classic example how UMNO can say whatever they want but when others say,they will face ISA threats.
