According to him, Badawi should have a dialogue with leaders of the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) if he is sincere in his efforts to improve the lives of the Indian community in the country. The dialogue should be a closed-door affair and on a one-to-one basis between Abdullah and,
either himself or detained Hindraf legal adviser, P Uthayakumar. He told Malaysiakini via telephone that:
If the prime minister and his government are sincere and honest in wanting to resolve all outstanding issues on the political and socio-economic status of Malaysian Indians, I am prepared to return for the dialogue session. I am prepared to return to Malaysia to have a dialogue with the prime minister. But only the prime minister and not any other political leader.
However, Waythamoorthy is convinced that Abdullah would detain him under the Internal Security Act if he returned to attend the dialogue. (that goes without saying!)
Waythamoorthy called for the dialogue with Abdullah because the prime minister’s office was the “rightful authority” in the country to resolve the problems facing the Indians.
He also said that HINDRAF will focus on its 18 point memorandum during the discussion.
Since the cabinet committee has been created, I doubt the government will even consider HINDRAF’s proposal. And nothing will happen without MIC being involved as its the BN spirit not to sideline its coalition members.
doubt umno gonna entertain …. we know KJ doesnt want (via press statement) PM to meet them before . So…… ‘marumagan sonnal manthiram’ !
besides , master umno knows it was hindraf which opened eyes and ears of the community which was asleep for past 50years .
it seems no way for the H5 to be released either , except change in policy via change in federal .

Does this mean HINDRAF realised that PR govt has failed ? And that HINDRAF has failed in its struggle ?
You must recall that HINDRAF acted against govt by getting Indians to vote for Opposition. And why would the PM even want to bother to meet HINDRAF which only had bad things to say and created so many problems for them ?
There is no way PM will meet HINDRAF. Not even with MIC in attendance. This action by HINDRAF shows that they have failed in their struggle. Just look at Waythamoorty’s statements before and now. What was a tiger is now is just a pussy cat.
PM is no fool and he knows HINDARF is weak and in no position to demand.
Just read what Swamy Ramdev (HINDRAF advisor) has to about Perak HINDRAF in Nanban. This shows HINDRAF is slowly coming apart and it is matter of time they will disband.
Pakatan Rakyat has failed Indians. Even if they capture Federal, they will NOT release HINDARF 5. Because the 5 goondas will agitate against the PR govt for unreasonable demand using argument that they brought PR into power.
The time that HINDARF will implode is near….
