At 10pm, Ramaji, the spiritual leader of Hindraf, S Jayathas, Manickavasagam and three others were released.  Cases to be mentioned at 8.30am.

When many countries allow for right to dissent or protest peacefully, some country do not, including Malaysia and Singapore. Strict rules are used to deny permits, and if everything else fails…there’s tear gas and chemical water to help clear the roads.

Another Hindraf leader arrested

Hindraf leader Rama ji was arrested at 12.30am 16/2/2007 and brought to Pudu Jail. His arrest was related to the Rose for PM event organised by Hindraf todday at Parliment.
