Which is the best university to do diploma in Automotive Engineering? TOC/Nilai/TAFE?

I can’t comment on which is best. my advice: visit all three of them. walk around, feel the environment and if can talk to the students. check out the facilities and ask about employability after graduating. also consider cost (hidden cost like hostel, food etc) and academic path after diploma. is the diploma acceptable in other colleges/uni.
whatever it is, get it in writing. cakap mulut tak boleh pakai.
note: all three of them are not universities! only nilai is an uni college, while the other two are colleges.

i’m not well versed with WIT. they used to popular in the 1990s but after many new colleges come into picture, they kind of faded away.

other than IPTA, there’s Nilai college. i believe SEGI also offers some program. basically you can enrol in mechanical engineering and then specialise in automotive. you can search MQA database as well in http://www.studymalaysia.com and http://www.afterschool.my directories.

Are the any institute that cater to slow learners. I have a son age 22 years, with poor results in his SPM. The only thing he can do is hands-on work, more to skills with hands, ie, mechanic, welding etc.

I’m not aware of such centers that focus on hands-on work type. Have you contacted Jabatan Kebajikan, Kiwanis, Monfort Boys, Jabatan Belia etc? one way is to get him to work as apprentice at any nearby businesses to pick up the skills.

ICT does offer a bright future, provided you are interested in ICT and of course hardworking. careers range from: application developer, website developer, network security manager, games designer, multimedia designer, lecturer, sales, researcher, entrepreneur, reseller, database administrator, programmer, and so many more! ICT is very diverse field.
