Subscribe in a reader | Subscribe by Email Hindraf have joined the Balasubramaniam bandwagon by organising a candlelight vigil tonight at Brickfields. Bala’s nephew revealed that Bala had made contact with him (Kumaresan) late last night via a short telephone call.
For about 20-minutes, some 40 individuals who took part in the gathering chanted “Where is Bala?”, “We want Bala”, “IGP, free Bala” and “Najib, don’t hide Bala” among other slogans. Two PKR MPs – S Manickavasagam and R Sivarasa – were also at the vigil to lend support to the gathering.
Manickavasagam warned that Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) would hold a demonstration if the missing private eye was not found by this weekend.
Is this a joke ? I burst out laughing when I read this news this morning. What Bala has to do with HINDRAF’s struggles ? Why are they getting involved in petty politics rather than focus on real issues facing Indians ?
We were just debating why HINDRAF has done nothing on the issue of Elangeswaran. And then we see this idiotic stunt.
Perhaps one of HINDRAF’s goodas can explain the intellectual and philosophical reasons behind this ???
HINDRAF has not an aota of evidence to indicate Bala has been held by the Police and yet organise this candlie-light vigil. Don’t they have better things to do ? In fact I just read that Bala has been traced to a neighbouring country (I can guess it btw).
All these only confirm my earlier view that HINDRAF has become irrelevant and dying a slow death.

as said it’s not easy in Bolehland to go against a political VIP . It’s obvious that he was threaten badly until he retracted key points in SD1 and went hiding with his family .

the proof has been packed and kicked out of the country by the Demon and Devil . The ‘proof’ cant return till the Demon say so or till the federal change .

I am not talking about Bala but how you know he has been threatened ? How sure are you that he was not paid off a hefty sum to come up with the SD1 ?

I agree. I don’t see the relevance of HINDRAF in Balasubramaniam’s case. If they start to meddle in every criminal case, it will be too much to handle. Focus, focus.
