Hmm..this is a tough one. Manickavasagam has gained a fair share of the limelight due to HINDRAF. One strategy MIC might opt for is to abandon/scale down expectation of the Indian votes, and instead concentrate on Malay and Chinese votes. The opposition should also do the same and try clear any misconception about HINDRAF among the non-Indians. From my sources in Kapar, Komala will be having very very tough time this.
