Well folks, no need to fear, PPP will still be here!

“We did not win any seats but we are still a multi-racial party which makes us relevant,”

Note that one can be relevant as long as multi-racial. Seats are not important. Hmmm…if like that, what for fight for Taiping???

PPP was still a force to be reckoned with, as it was still within BN

Now you get it. if you are out of BN, would be like getting hit by Ridsect!

Its time to call a spade a spade.

‘PPP is still relevant’

KUALA LUMPUR: It is not the end of the road for the People’s Progressive Party (PPP), despite losing the two seats it contested during the polls.

This is the feeling of the party’s national adviser S. I. Rajah and PPP Federal Territory chief A. Chandrakumanan.

“We did not win any seats but we are still a multi-racial party which makes us relevant,” he said.

The two PPP candidates were its president, Datuk M. Kayveas, and senior vice-president, Lee Heng, who stood in the Taiping parliamentary and Pasir Bedamar state seats respectively. Rajah said the party had gone through many trials and tribulations as it was in opposition first before joining the BN in 1972.

He felt that with its political skills, it would be able to work together with the other component parties. Chandrakumanan said PPP was still a force to be reckoned with, as it was still within BN and had always fought for the rights of the people.
