No surprises when I read that the Indian assemblyman is given Human Resource as well as health and environment. This makes him the 4 assemblyman to have HR as a portfolio, after Negeri Sembilan, Johor and Penang. Malacca, Kedah, and Selangor EXCO don’t handle HR.

Buntong ADUN Siva quits DAP!

It was highlighted by NST that DAP initially allocated two positions for Indians in EXCO, and the balance four for the Chinese assemblymen. Howeve, only one was selected in the end. Media bias during election campaigning period

Earlier, CIJ came out with a one-week analysis of newspaper coverage during the election campaigning period. Their final analysis indicates Utusan as the worst of the 6 papers monitored (gap between pro-BN and pro-oppositon was the highest) , while the Sun was the most partial (gap was lowest). I kind of agree with SV on this. It is disappointing to read that DAP “allocated” two seats for Indians in Perak. It should always be “best person for the job”, doesn’t matter on his skin color. If Perak DAP assemblymen oppose to this, then they should be exposed for who they really are. the state governments (all of them) must be able to show on what criteria were portfolios allocated to the selected assemblymen. Put up the assemblymen biodata as well, and let the people judge for themselves if the state government have any hidden agenda in allocation such positions. » Read more: Samy blasts opposition EXCO setup
