So, its confirmed that KIMMA members are joining PPP. Earlier reports were contradicting, with KIMMA having problem with its leadership. One party adamant to join UMNO only, while another announcing they are joining PPP.
Kavyeas announced this at the official affiliation ceremony for about 80,000 Malaysian Indian Muslim Congress (Kimma) members to PPP, yesterday. More than 1,000 Kimma members, led by president Amir Amsaa Alla Pitchay, were present.
Kayveas said the party would allocate a vice-presidency post to the PPP Indian Muslim Religious bureau and two supreme council posts to Kimma members.
