This temple in Shah Alam has been applying for land the last 40 years and nothing happened. I guess another one of MIC’s achievement. And the MIC bloke from Kuala Langat got the guts to ask us what they have not done for the community! I would not be surprised if the temple was demolished if Khir Toyo was still in charge after March 8.

And the Indian community, having shown the door to MIC, is still approaching Indian EXCO to solve problems instead of the EXCO in charge of the problem area. I kind of agree with SV on this. It is disappointing to read that DAP “allocated” two seats for Indians in Perak. It should always be “best person for the job”, doesn’t matter on his skin color. If Perak DAP assemblymen oppose to this, then they should be exposed for who they really are. the state governments (all of them) must be able to show on what criteria were portfolios allocated to the selected assemblymen. Put up the assemblymen biodata as well, and let the people judge for themselves if the state government have any hidden agenda in allocation such positions. » Read more: Samy blasts opposition EXCO setup

Earlier, Prof Arabi reported his analysis of the election results. He indicated a rather stereotype profiling – Indians felt marginalised, Chinese unhappy with the economy management, and Malays unhappy that government giving in too much to non-Malays. » Read more: election analysis
