Earlier, Alex, the Klang MIC Division chairmen condemned Samy Vellu over the running of MIC. Now he goes one step further and makes a police report over Maika shares handled by MIC and Samy. NST carried an article (below), but copies of the report are shown online at Malaysia Today. He is reported to have said that documents are available to support his claims.

As usual, the reports will be investigated at their own leisurely pace. Meanwhile, what will happen to Alex? People who raise hands in MAIKA AGM also “kena hentam”, what more of own party man making police report?

Alex to lose MIC post in next few days?

Report against Samy Vellu

source
KLANG: The MIC division chief here Alex Thiagarasan lodged a police report on Thursday against party president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu.
He said the allegations were in relation to Samy Vellu’s role in the Maika Holdings and Telekom shares scandal.

He also took a jab at former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, saying he was also responsible for what had happened as he did nothing to stop it.

“Samy Vellu is not an asset to MIC or Barisan Nasional.”

Thiagarasan said he was fully aware his actions may get him the sack, but even so, he would see to the end of this struggle.
Thiagarasan said he had all the evidence to incriminate Samy Vellu and was ready to hand it over to the police.

Samy piles pressure on PM

Wonder what Samy was thinking about. Election pledges will take long time to be implemented, probably end of 5 years. Only Pakatan led states are expected to implement their pledges within months, if not days  😆

Probably Samy realises its not easy to get the RM300 million the party is asking for ANNUALLY and starts reminding his boss about it.

Samy would have also noticed that the focus is now on Sabah and Sarawak, and if this goes on, MIC would be left floundering behind. He has to remind the coalition that MIC is still around.

Nalla plots his move

Now, this is interesting. A public meeting arranged between Nalla and PM (5 minutes only). Again, Nalla uses this chance to blast Anwar. In the same breath, he talked about his party MIUP joining BN, even though MIC has always opposed another Indian party joining BN. He says Samy Vellu is like a “guru”. Well, no matter how much he praises his “guru”, “guru” is always smarter than the student.

I was watching on TV the interview with Nalla and realised he mentioned his party as “Malaysian United Party”, and then corrected himself by saying “Malaysian Indian United Party”. Kind of a prominent gaffe shown on prime time.

Parliament abbatoir or market

Not sure if anyone remembers cows and goats being slaughtered in parliament compound which happened last year July. Reason? Celebrating the wedding of our prime minister. The MPs organised a “kenduri” (reception). Agreed, the slaughter was in the compound and not in the building itself. But I doubt the cries and smell of the animals were more pleasant compared to a 6-year old’s birthday which was surrounded by about 15 people. TV3 showed the birthday celebration clip which was held in the lobby, during the 8pm news. They focused on comment by one of the officials that Parliament is becoming like “Central Market”.

I think its not an appropriate place to have birthday parties, even though its a simple cake cutting ceremony only. Of course only the opposition MPs will attend and show support. And this will be used by the others to cast a bad light on the whole thing.

Samy goes begging again for scholarships!

I remember Samy saying “no more begging” when Pahang EXCO line up did not have any Indians in it (well, only one candidate is available!). I suppose he only meant for that specific case. Now its that time of the year (nope, not X’mas or Deepavali) where a short serial drama is played out.

This time, only 72 out 2000 (3.6%) recipients were Indians. Stories are aplenty about students with lesser As getting scholarship due to their privileged status. Just check the letters section in The Star yesterday for some examples.

As usual, the aggrieved students and parents have no choice but to approach political parties (heard PKR’s Gopalakrishnan is organising a meeting as well, while Sivanesan had done so in Perak). Then, the party will be made to look like saviours when in fact it was their failure that bought the community down to this level in the first place. I think the parents and student are more mature now. They’ll just nod their heads at Samy’s speech, agreeing to everything he says, put up with “words of advice” until their kids get the scholarships. But when come to election time, another rout for MIC is expected. Don’t think that the community can be fooled by this kind of drama. » Read more: Samy goes begging again for scholarships!
