Hmmm…average increase of 3.2% for Indian community to reach RM3799. Did your household income increase by 3.2% since year 2004 (4 year period from 2004-2007)? That means average of 0.8% per year. If RM2000 in 2004, should be RM2064 by end of last year. I guess my household did increase by more than 3.2%, but still I find the cost of living is squeezing life in urban areas. Maybe the higher income is not in tandem with higher cost of living. » Read more: household income increased in 2007

I suspect that PKR been the peacemaker, may have to sacrifice the second deputy post and give it to DAP. DAP may claim up to 7 EXCO positions. Balance 3 may go to PKR (2) and PAS (1). Now DAP CEC wants to call for boycott. Will the state DAP follow? » Read more: Perak Tussle Continues

However, it is always possible that the MB/DMB (if non muslim) to assign such religion-related obligations to a representative from the EXCO – maybe someone who holds the Religious Affairs portfolio. We have seen in cases where the PM assigns Maximum Ongkili for some Christian-related functions/events before. » Read more: Selangor living in the past
