finally, something that appeared on mainstream media (the NST) about the memorandum by HINDRAF. Just some hot air and no facts as usual 🙂
Samy Vellu hits back at Hindu Rights Action Force

PUTRAJAYA, FRI:
MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu today launched a stinging attack against a non-governmental organisation, the Hindu Rights Action Force (HINDRAF), which claimed that the Barisan Nasional (BN) government had done little to address the woes of the Malaysian Indian community over the last 50 years.
“I must state here that if there is anything that affects the Indian community, the MIC will be there to fight it out even when we are partners of the Barisan Nasional. To me, I have never remained idle and I don’t waste time,” Samy Vellu, who is also Works Minister, told Bernama today.
The MIC supremo was asked to comment on a 18-point memorandum by HINDRAF, which was handed to the Prime Minister’s office last Sunday by the organisation’s chairman P. Waytha Moorthy, secretary V.K Regu and its legal adviser P. Uthayakumar.
Apart from stating that the Indian community was marginalised by the BN government, in the memorandum, HINDRAF also wanted an end to special privileges given to Malays. The memorandum also took a dig at Umno asking the largest political party in the country to “stop playing politics” through the “mandore” (supervisor) system by dishing out aid to the Indian community on a piecemeal basis.
Dear dj.
Thank you for your clarification. I still disagree with the manner the issues are being challenge. I have 5 children eldest is 23 and youngest 7. I have taught them to be prejudice to others. I have travel the world as a sailor and seen more then you have seen. We have a peaceful country, and I want it to be as it is and will fight for it INSYALLAH. Hindraf threats are uncalled and we shud pUt is to a STOP.
cORRECTION I never taught them to be prejudice to others
Up up on the way HINDRAF down down to the drain MIC

Please don’t use Gandhi’s name and be rude. The whole world respects the Mahatma. If you want to write like what you have done above, please change your name.
Doesn’t matter who you support.
to BOBO, you sound like JAKUN, only JAKUN make the noice like BOooBOoo. Who are you to ask us to go back to India?
This is not your country either. So SHUT UP and go back where you belong. We never ask for you rice bowl, but what we want is JAGAN CURI DARI ORANG LAIN.
And dont put your SMELLY NOSE into our matter.
STAY AWAY, Please grow up first, before you open your NASTY MOUTH.
Lee Roy,
Stating facts is not rude.
Btw, even Gandhi was killed by the Tamils..
Peace, “Gandhi”.
Lee Roy,
&, Incase you’ve forgotten; quoted from Wikipedia:
“On January 30, 1948, Gandhi was shot and killed while having his nightly public walk on the grounds of the Birla Bhavan (Birla House) in New Delhi.
The assassin, Nathuram Godse, was a Hindu radical with links to the extremist Hindu Mahasabha, who held Gandhi responsible for weakening India by insisting upon a payment to Pakistan.”
Indira & Rajiv were also assasinated; said by Sikh & Tamil (LTTE) respectively.
surya,
Orang aslis are found everywhere in the world. Orang aslis are those people who had been living in remote areas of the lands, and are found throughout the world.
As a Malaysian, I simply cannot comprehend the ignorance of my fellow Malaysians who kept on mentioning about the orang aslis, like they (the natives or remote people) are only found in Malaysia & are not found anywhere else in the world….
Even on Taiwan island alone, there are 12 native tribes (orang aslis) discovered!
Do remember our history that the people here on the Peninsular + islands around (Sumatera, Java, etc.) have had many civilizations such as Langkasuka, Sriwijaya, Majapahit and Melaka, to name a few.. & that can be traced back as early as the 1st century.
Ptolemy’s map in 150AD mentioned civilization already established on the Malay Peninsula.
So, please don’t show your ignorance on this orang aslis or natives’ nature of living remotely or inland; & again, where they are also found in most lands throughout the world.
On Malays, they are those people living in this Malay Archipelago, as per described by Raffles.
Have you forgotten history that Sumatera island (excluding Acheh in the north) was part of the Melaka Sultanate?
Borders to identify “Malaysia” & “Indonesia” only came about in 1824 in the Anglo-Dutch Treaty – between British & Dutch.
Lastly, before Islam, the inhabitants here were Buddhists – & it goes right up to Kemboja (Angkor Wat) which was built by the same group of people, Sailendras in Java, who built the Borobudur.
Parts of Eastern Java and Bali were Hindus.
Hope we Malaysians do not show our ignorance on facts anymore.
Peace, “Gandhi”.
nadesan, please.. think about this. u claimed bumiputras are being sent to study overseas with loads of money. true. but who gave the scholarships? government? no! private sectors! so YOU better think, in private sectors, there are people from all kind of races. all type of people. indians, no offense, opt to take STPM after SPM while bumiputras go to colleges. honestly speaking, not many organizations give scholars to STPM students. seriously. private sectors take their job seriously and you can bet they give their best in choosing the right person to go study wherever they want, regardless whether that person is a malay, chinese, indian, or others. please, think.
surya,
I believe the term “Balik India” or balik wherever came about because before Merdeka, both the Chinese labourers & Indian coolies were given a choice by the British to either go back to their home countries, or, agree to become the citizens of Malaya.
As the ancestors had chosen to be citizens (I think all of them agreed), that’s why the Malays who are frustrated of the forgotten agreement mentioned “that” – which in actual fact, is logical.
Nevertheless, as we are all Malaysians, we should maintain our long established camaraderie and trust between one another, that ALL had enjoyed long before Merdeka.
Peace, “Gandhi”.
sorry gandhi was not killed by a tamil. check your facts before you want to comment . the guy who shot him was a musl…. fill in the blanks
ALL INDIANS HERE ARE PIECE OF SXXT (X KNAL UNTUNG), MELAYU SUDAH CKUP BAIK KSI LU SINI DUDUK TANAH MELAYU SUDAH CUKUP BAIK, CHINESE ALSO GET SAME BLOODY TREATMENT AS ALL OF YOU, BUT THEY STILL MANAGE TO LIVE WEALTHY AND PEACEFULLY (AFTER KNE AJAR 13 MEI), SO IF U ALL DUN LIKE BEING HERE, YOU CAN GO BACK TO INDIA MAKAN TIKUS!!
my dearest indians in Malaysia,
I am so sad of what happened to my beloved country. I ‘m very proud of what our government served us. Pls don’t forget the history of this land.It was name Tanah Melayu and we are here because the British brought us here. Years by years our community growth and many of our childrens become lawyers, doctors, and even many of them become ADUN, AP , Deputy Minister and even Minister. Who is the top 2 richest in Malaysia? Our beloved multi milionaire Ananda Krishnan. So, what else do we need from the Govenment? If HIndraf said that Kerajaan Malaysia want to demolish Hindu from this country why they let Batu Caves temple to be step up high, The highest temple compared to Budhist temples or even Masjids all over Malaysia. Have you visited Port Dickson? At Lukut you can see Hindu Temple being growth from nothing only a big tree and now with a monuments and concrete structures which cost reach milion dollar. There are also a few temples in Selangor which developed illegally on lands owned by housing developers. When the developers reported to the State Municipal Council, the bodies asked the developers to give land granted for the square feet which the temple building developed. And it was free, the temple in charge no need to pay even one single cents to the developers. So, what do you think? Are you still thinking that the Government still want to demolish our ethnics? What do you think if Malay races is one ethnic in India country? Will they get land? Will they become Minister, Deputy Minister, ADUN, AP? Have you go to India and talk with Indian people in India? I have relatives there and they said that they are jealous with India peoples here because we get many rights here which they even didn’t got at their own country. In my late 75 yrs old now, I still can flashback when we fight for independents of Malaya. At the time without thinking of races, we works together and support YB Tuanku Abdul Rahman to get independent from British. So, why HINDRAF report to British? Do you want British to control Malaysia again and we work under them? So, all my youngers brothers and sisters please and please use your brain and think carefully before support the HINDRAF. Please ask you grandfathers, grandmothers or older Indian peoples the history of this country. I am very sure if the British sent us to other commenwealth countries during WW2 we can get as what we have now here in Malaysia. I’m so proud to be here. 2 of my son work as a doctors in government hospital and another 2 daughters work as a teacher. When they read this blog, I feel very sad and asked my daughter to reply.
PROUD TO BE MALAYSIA.
LOUIS you also wrong Gandhi was killed by Nathuram Godse,a Hindu radical with links to the extremist Hindu Mahasabha not a musl… (fill in the blanks)please checks your fact also.
malaysian, I think that you better check your facts, because it is the Malaysian government that pays for almost all of the scholoarships. If you think that it is given by merit, then you better think again.
I hold 2 bachelors degrees AND 2 Masters degrees all from overseas universities and in my considerable expereince interracting with Malaysians in the academic context in Australia, UK and USA, I can categorically say that I have yet to meet a single non-bumiputera who has been sponsored by Malaysian government. Although, almost 80% of the Malay students are.
I have self sponsored all of my studies. If meritoracracy prevailed in Malaysia, then I should have been awarded with similar scholoarships to bumiputra, but this never materialised despite numerous applications. That my firend is how the Malays treat the Indians in Malaysia.
So my Indian and Chinese brothers, if you want to pursue a better life, I assure you that the grass is greener in many parts of the world. Malaysia has passed its prime. Events in far off lands have changed the global dimension so that Malaysia is becoming increasingly irrelevant. It can no longer grow as it once did but can only look forward to years of future decline. Offcourse that Bodoh Badawi and his lapdog the cockerspaniel Sammy Velu will have something to say against it, but the writing is already on the wall. It would pay heed and leave the Titanic (in Malaysia’s case it is more of a tongkang) while there are still life boats to go around. I would advise you to pack up and leave the sinking ship of Malaysia.
MP, you are right. Waht I meant was that the haze is slowly killing many Malaysians bumi and non-bumi alike.
All Indian Malaysians, as a protest to the government, you should ALL boycott the elections when it is held the next time around on grounds that the constitution is a farse. That way it will severely embarass the Badawi government on the international stage and bring wide spread publicity to the plight of Indian Malaysians in the eyes of the world. Voting for the opposition will not be as devastating for the government as a mass boycott – think of Gandhi’s passive non-cooperation against the British Empire and how well that worked. I hope that the Hidraf leadership can gather criticl mass in leadership strength to make this happen nationwide.
What’s the worst the government can do except to fine all the Indians and then finding that all Indians refuse to pay the fines. The other alternative, then open to the government is to throw all Indians in Jail, just like in Gandhi’s day, or seek a compromise. If they seek compromise, then that is a chink in their armour for you to press more concessions. If they throw all Indians in Jail, then that would be a big victory for the Indian cause, because Badawi’s reputation would be flushed down the toilet very quickly.
Malaysia is a hopeless country….there is no future for us in this country !!..our forefathers came here looking for a better life..but it seems that it has not worked out that way…it is time for us to move on to other countries and let this government rot to death..The government has forgoten then if not for the indians and chinese malaysia will be a piece of “shit”…because of their lazyness and stupidity. You dont have to go far..just go to any government building..be it the hospital or the NRD..or whatever and look at those lazy malays mending the counter..
No derogatory word can describe how stupid, backward, and lazy the malays are.
Surya : Kepala hotak kau berjambul ! Tak ada… kami respect you all as an insane… tapi kalau orang macam you mengapi-apikan isu racist macam ni kami tak boleh diam… jangan ingat kami tak ada kesatuan…you tengok tiap-tiap hari Jumaat kami solat berjemaah…. kami tetap bersatu. Jangan di jolok sarang tebuan…jangan ingat air yang tenang tak ada buaya ! Fikir sendiri…!
Perumal you must be kidding! You are 75 years old and you write such attrocious English . To say that both your daughters are teachers – just hope that they are not teaching English! Were you paid to write this or are you someone in disguise.
Eagleye must also be watching alot of tamil movies!
Dear Poobalan
Thanks….I like such rational debates such as yours instead of the illogical ranting that seems to be preferred by many here.
4. The police asked the supporters to leave but they refused.
– NOT SURE. The gates are open and the people look like want to come out, but blocked by police (pic 4 to 9).
Killer : Are you sure ? Looked to me that they were throwing stones from the gates. I thought the police asked them to disperse. Please read the temple commitee’s press statement in Makkal Osai.
5. The HINDRAF supporters attacked the police with stones and bricks
– UNSURE. HINDRAF claims some people were planted to cause disruption. If you noticed, only in batu caves were bricks used. the bricks were part of the on-going construction and was scattered there for quite sometime. probably can check with those that frequently visit batu caves (daily/weekly).
Killer : Funny that the stones only seem to gather at the area police was massed but not in other places. If it is due to construction work the bricks would not be left scattered outside the perimeter but inside. But stones were used even in Jalan Ampang along with beer bottles.
If people were planted to cause trouble, they would have been easy to detect right ?
7. The crowd damaged temple properties and also set fire to a tourist bus
– NOT TRUE. Temple has clarified that slight damage to the gate and a fridge.
Killer : Damage is damage right ? Also the tourist bus did not belong to the temple. I am sure it is easy to confirm this incident but I can’t give any proof but I don’t think I have any reasons to doubt the IGP.
8. Police did not use force and did not use water cannon or tear gas within the temple ground.
– NOT TRUE. Police did not use force, but used tear gas and cannon (pic 13 to 15).
Killer : I said the police did not use within the temple ground. This was stated by the IGP clearly. Also there is no picture of the police using the water cannon within the temple. Otherwise I am sure our photographer would have taken more pics.
Now let’s look at the pics. These people are not people who came to pray. They had pictures of Gandhi and obviously they had come with other intentions.
– they came to gather before moving to klcc. many received sms to gather at batu caves.
Why they were doing at Batu Caves at that time ?
– resting.
Killer : Resting, didn’t know Batu Caves provided hotel facilities too. In any case they have no right to break and enter the temple ground right ? I thought they were carrying the photos of Gandhi who stood for non-violence.
Look at the photos of the FRU using the watercannon. Look at the road. You can see bricks and stones on the road near the police ? That shows that the FRU were attacked by the devotees before the watercannon attack. So do you think these people are inncocent ?
– the police push them force them back in, and i suppose a few threw back the stones. then the police move back (notice the gap between them and the gate), then the tear gas and water cannon started. everyone started to run deeper inside. then the police moved into the temple compound. this is my understanding.
Killer : It is obvious what had happened right ? The police came and asked the crowd to leave the temple. The crowd refused and locked the gate, knowing that the police would not enter the temple. Then these “peace-lovers” started to provoke the police by throwing stones and bricks. Just look at the number of stones/bricks when the police is spraying water. It shows that the police is just retaliating to the crowd’s attack.
I read Makkal Ossai the other day and it published a big news on how the police beat up the people. But it did not provide any evidence but just a witness account by someone claiming to be a news vendor who “happended” to be there (this is a joke right?). But the statement by the temple commitee was so small and put at some corner that I almost missed it.
– newspaper vendor may be there to arrange newspaper distribution (early morning 3-4am they are working). but how valid is the claim, i’n not sure.
Killer : I am not sure which newspaper can print the copies by 2am. This is not valid off course.
So, simple question. If someone who were there can take some many pics, you think they would not have taken pics of police beating ?
– Yes they would have if they have seen it. notice in the picture (pic 19) the police coming out of the temple compound whereas the police mentioned they did not go in at all. so, who knows what happens inside. i’m also compiling photos and video posted all over the net. hope to sort it out next week.
There were hundreds of photographers and many more with camera handphones on that day, not to mention the TV news stations. How come not even one had a picture of police brutality ? Your friends can claim that but what can else you expect from HINDRAF supporters ? By taking part in the rally they are obviously biased and can’t be used as independent eyewitness. Even the Bar Council chairperson did not talk about police brutality but water cannon and gas.
– even though they attend the rally in support of hindraf, my friends have no reason to lie. why should they say something which is not true? they are not supporting blindly and lying. my friend was hit with baton in the tunnel area (jln ampang-jln tun razak). luckily not serious. this guy is an engineer who was watching peacefully, not some rowdy. if you see PKR’s statement today, it seems they have found some video clips. let’s see what happens.
Killer : I am still awaiting for the photos. But I can tell you this. If such pics exist, they would have been the first to be uploaded and circulated right ?.
I believe some of the crowd were injured when resisting arrest. If you friend was hit by a baton, then I am sorry, he was certainly NOT being a passive watcher but either resisting arrest or attacking the police.
Granted your friends might/might not be lying but again where is the proof ? I can claim that the crowd was unruly and attacked the police with parang, everyone can claim anything right ?
You see, for all their claim of transparency and fairness, I did not a single account from the any alternative media to be truthful. On the other hand, while the mainstream media downplayed the incident, they did not lie or cover up.
– on the contrary, i find the mainstream media worse than alternative media. also, individuals can upload their photos and write their experiences. both the medias have their own agendas, but one has the added shackle of press and printing law.
Killer: Define “worse”. I have yet to see any one giving me a single proof of the instance when the mainstream media lied about the incident. In fact I am asking you too.
For all the crap about non-violence, I read that the crowd tries to provoke the police by using vulgar words. You think Gandhi would be proud of this ?
– how many in the crowd used such words? while i was not privy to incident at batu caves, my very reliable friends/relative who were scattered all around klcc area said the crowd was overwhelmingly orderly. if you take into consideration few hot-blooded youths, maybe gandhi was proud after all.
Killer : I don’t have the stats,I admit. But I had seen reports where some of the crowds were drunk and used extreme provocation on the police.
And BTW, how come the leaders did not turn up for the rally and only came late ? Scared ?
– they were there around 7.30am onwards. moving around klcc park and jln ampang (up to monorail station).
Killer : Are you sure ?? Any proof their presence before 1.30pm ? Every media reports said there were no where to be found. Are you saying the IGP is lying ? In that case, HINDRAF should have issued a denial right ?
LOUIS,
Mahatma Gandhi was killed by a HINDU Extremist.
Yeah, there’s no mention if he’s a “Tamil” or not; but the killer, Nathuram/Gopal Godse, is definitely NOT Muslim as you “tried” to insinuate.
j4l4k, Thank you.
Perumal,
My hats off to your Dad… Thank you for posting his insights as an elderly Malaysian who was there to experience before Merdeka up until now; & who appreciates ALL Malaysians.
Please convey my heartfelt Thank You to your father..
I am Proud to have him & his family as my Fellow Malaysians…
God Bless.
To “HINDU youngsters”,
IF that Uthu-lawyer fella is so deprived, how come he is driving a cool, big BMW? (another one of Anwar’s “PUPPET”??)
Think Objectively & SMARTLY, Malaysians….. Peace.
Dear Smallant
I am not against u paying your zakat..Good u r helping for the development of Islam…I salute u.. But pls keep in mind, others also contribute 2 their religion…Hindus, Sikh, Christians, Buddhist etc, why are their contribution lesser in value..WHY the Gomen cannot recognise tax rebates for the development of their own religion..So it is not I who do not respect yr religion Smallant but u & the Gomen who do not respect the religion of others..I think u should sit and think this through carefullu b4 giving baseless comments.
Gandhi and perumal,
so so nice people calling themselves as indians. Gandhi was killed by an indian yes true. because
there are indian like yourselves who are selfish and self thinking. as like yourselves the lawyers are living well but when they see so many people effected by this government they come front to defend Hindu not like you people hiding behind your
materialistic world.
See guys if you have a good job you children are doctors or teachers fine. be grateful to god. you may be the lucky picked by the government.
Think about those who are suffering. I’ve always
been proud of being an Indian and am still Proud.
After hearing what CM Karunanithi said I feel strong too. He said his is will to face any punishment for defending Indians in malaysia. That is the true indian.
My first cursion brother had to get 80 pionts out of 85 to get to do Law in UM. in the class beside
him was a malay girl who just got 35 points. was it fair?
His brother got 70 points but didn’t get any entry in to any University.
My cursion sister got 11A’s in SPM and did’t get
to do medicine. but she was offer petroleum engineer by petronus. her dream to be doctor is
shattered.
Perumal.. your children maybe one of those lucky picked as my cusion brother. but face it there are a lot of indian children who has dream but for now
it can only be a dream for them.
We are not asking you to help these people but please don’t disgrace our fight. one’s believe
may not be shared by other but don’t spit on it.
no country in the world has laws such malaysian law. berat sebelah.
gandi you said Think Objectively & SMARTLY, Malaysians….. Peace. just like our goverment who
don’t want to lose they grip to their chairs.
I may have a job now, I may live in peace now. But
I’m willing to lose it all if it’ll bring justice
to all.
so for those indian who think their wealth and
current facilities is so important then pls convert. don’t be an indian and suck up to the
government.
Dear BOBO
Again u anti-indian supporters are showing how stupid & shallow u r by asking us to go back to India. Fine..we will go back if u will go back u Yunan or whatever place u come from..Most of the words in your Malay language..like bumi, istana, mahligai ,raja etc. are from India…give it back 2 me & I will go back to India…the very Malay culture is founded on Indian culture..bersandinglah,wayang kulit, kuda kepang are all Indian culture..give back to India..and I will go back to India..Even the great empires in Malaysia. was founded by Indians ..Our language you want, our culture you want..our money u want..our sweat & blood which made Malaysia the no.1 rubber & palm oil once u want..but Indians u don’t want in your country..The Prime Minister who took your country to become an economy giant in SEA..the Great Tun Dr. Mahathid has Indian blood him..I dare u pls ask his indian side to go back to India..
pls for god sake stop all these nonsense and concentrate on ur work..to all indians pls stop being so racist..i wont believe saying that if a malay settled in india he will be getting the same treatment.if u say yes.its bullshit.
another thing is even indians in mainland is not united..tamil,malayalee,punjabi,telugu..they are not united…we are getting a good life here…dont believe hindraf..they are simply using this matter for next election..believe me my dear indians…Malaysia is our country…stop asking from govt and try to make ur own living..
im a pure hindu and pls dont be stupid to migle to issues together..temple and discrimination..where do we stand now?why we are not rich?because malay abuse?nope..because we prefer to watch tamil movies rather than go to work or study..this is wat happenning to this cheap community..indians are rich everwhere in the world…except Malaysia…not because malay abuse…but because you ppl are lazy..dont talk to other race..look in urself..
My dear indians, stop being racist and pls catch all the indians who make problem and really send them back to india(indian govt also wont accept them).pls send them to seycelles.
Thank you
MP: i agree with you. many like to say “good luck”, “i support/hate XXXXX” or some other comments. fine with me. but then, there are others who have no idea how to argue/rebut and tend to use foul/insulting/degrading language. i mean, if you are really a muslim/hindu/buddhist/christian..blah..blah..blah, then it shows you are not fit to be so, and in fact a disgrace to your religion. its much more easier to be polite than to be rude 🙂
“Go and debate elsewhere like the yearly UMNO AGM, there are full of morons there….
May Allah bless us with more morons from UMNO.”
What you stated clearly justify Killers redicule you as moron.
Every piece loving and rational Malaysian should be welcome to this blogger and debate their standpoints.
You all Indian and supporters to Hindraf may be fighting for your right, it does’nt meant whatever you do is right.
So dear Helma Noor, please be mindfull for others points of view. Not everything you stated is right, maybe for you, not for others, especialy the majority.
to me, as Malaysian, 50 years of independence has progress the nation to many significant progress. The govenment and leadership of BN has been working together to their best effort. It was not their very best yet, since Malaysia are democratic country. Lots of letf over colonial issues has to address. Racial issues, Malay issues, economic issues, etc. We need to consistently highlight to all concern parties in civilized manner. We earn our freedom through civilize manner, hence it shall work the same way for any other matters. Malaysian shouln’t opt for oppositor cry to change the government through other means with whatever justification or rational. We are not superpower country, instability will only open our country door to inteference, which I’ll not support, and many Malaysian will not support.
If you all Indian and supporter to Hindraf want to garner support from the majority piece loving Malaysian, please be mindful of your approach.
everyone is just concern what warranty
if the opposition will do the same as BN now. Why think negative. Let’s give them a chance then we can decide in 5 years time if they are doing something new or the same.if we don’t start now the government will always think they are beyond us. we have to show then if they don’t do then we’ll change them. then they will be more careful and responsible. we elect them to represent us not to step on us. they are who they are because we
vote for them. if we don’t vote they are nobody merely another citizen.
– as for batu caves being built… ha ha ha… perumal do you know how many present tax is going from batu caves every year.
– as for leaders of hindraf not being in the rally. are you guys mad… they were detained by the police for investigation so that they can’t be there.
– can a doctor be irresponsible and careless when dealing with patient? NO. it’s someone’s life he/she is dealing with. will you get angry if someone dies due to a doctor’s carelessness? yes. that’s the same for the government. their mistake, irresponsible and carelessness can cause death to the citizens.
it’s time to wake up after 50 years of sleeping. it’s easy to wake up people whom are really sleeping not the one’s who are pretending to sleep.
for those indian whom are talking bad about hindraf, they are pretending to sleep in their
fantasy world.
edwin..you better leave malaysia..jangan ingat kaum kau tu kerja rajin pegilah ke estet atau mana-mana tempat tengok dia kerja macam-mana.tunjukan muka u la kalau berani
I don’t undertand the problems raised by these stupid hindraf people. Indians are making good money nowadays. more than the malays. look at WHO OWNS MAXIS!!!!! AK is worth billions. Go to bangsar and you will see hundreds of indians pouring hundreds of ringgit a night to drink liqour. Money down the drain. Look at lawyers, there are thousands of indian lawyers now. Go to Jln TAR, how many idnian businesses there.. Go to mamak .. u can see LOTUS restaurant is the biggest chain of mamak in KL. Making millions. So, what the hell is the problems???????
Temples?? Well, you wanna pray, go ahead but build them at the appropriate places. Do not build them on other people’s land!!!!
Buddist temples, surau, churches even sikh temples are built but they are built properly and with approval. So, no problem lah….. Don’t just build where you wish. Collect money and get proper land and build a big one. Don’t build one small one here and another small one there but all on other people’s land. Thant’s plain wrong.
I know hundreds of indians but most of them speak english anyway. So, what’s the use of tamil schools now. Even indians rarely speak the languague anymore. Just go to bangsar and you can clearly see.
So, i ask you hindraf …. WHAT’S THE BLOODY PROBLEM?
ramya74, what such ignorence you are. Do you know WE constitutes of estmated 50%+ Malay, 30%+, 8%+ Indian, 11%+ Others. Do you ever think that the majority of voters can simply swayed to vote opposition simply to try out for 5 years. Do you know sum of all seats if opposition win still not able to form strong government comparative to BN. Do you think all the Sultan’s and Yg Di Pertua’s influences will support that ideas? I don’t think so, please have some sense of realism. What matters is your opposition representatives in Parlimen. The more they are, more check and balance for the government. That what Malaysia need, rather than support to Hindraf baseless accusations and demands. Their plight bring more harm than good. If they are genuine, form a party and fight for your right like any other opposition. Be responsible and accountable to the people who supported you. Please don’t allow yourself be manipulated by opposition. Set up your own party and replace MIC for that matter, If you think all Indian agree and support you.
to all fellow bloggers, asking or demand others Malaysian whom get disoriented by Hindraf that has been manipulated by oppossition is not the answer. If they realy want to leave Malaysia on their own accord thats okay. We either support or don’t support their stand over Hindraf issues. Agree or disagree to their baseless issues. Its trevial enough to have claim their fight is for the good of Malaysia, when what actually they are resorting is harm and damage to Malaysia. They disregard others majority Malaysian sensitivity as such they are not part of Malaysia multi racial, religion and cultural society. Out of sudden, after 50years, Hindraf become the hero for their plight. Its cristal clear that opposition has resorted to desperado approach coming election. I’m amaze that common Indian can easily cornered by such irresponsible act.
John,
believe me, they have no real problems besides their baseless plight and accusation to others fellow Malaysian and government through irresponsible Hindraf. I can only agree to MIC, IPF, etc that form collective responsibilities representing Indian base community. They are real, visible, accountable and fight for Indian right through democracy and legitimate approach. I don’t think so Hindraf is seriously fight for them, instead I suspect its opposition desperado tactics to weaken MIC as strongest Indian base BN components. Since Hindraf manage to ignites the Indian soft spot, make Indian felt great with 1 million pound each for every Indian and abolishing of Malay previlage right, like in Tamil movie. They feel so great like never before, even Chinese is not vokal like them, they think all peace loving Malaysian can be threatens by their hooligan act.
Hi tuah67,
You might be right. But if we see the situation is goverment doing anything for indians all this while? Breaking the temples is a big sin. If the masjid was being demolish will you keep calm down? Why gov does not care about malaysia indians? Why in gov sectors there are only few indians working? If we see the odds and what you have said is true that other party is trying to have touch the issue that prolog so long, it means the current gov is doing mistake and they just don’t care about indians? Why now they would like to setup commitee to look at this problem. Because teh rest of teh world asking the PM what happen in your country? Do you know the PM seat should be rotate every 5 years? Do you know Tun Sambathan have become 1 day PM in those days? What is going on with Malaysia? Please give us the explanation why you think this a trick by other party?
kamal, can you watch your mouth!!! Do not talk like typical malay! Please be more profesional.
ramya74 has a point there saying some people just hide behine and talk and i support you ramya74.
1st of all people who talk alot do you guys have register yourself as voter? If not please do so. To all fellow non-indians the rally was to sent a pettions to the British and not to Gov! Whats the gov problem to stop the rally when it was allready state as peace rally. The police should protect people rather than abuse teh indians. If you all think in such way you need teh income tax money that being taken from indians. If you think you can win with 60% of malays/islam vote why don’t you just take teh money ffrom Malays and Islam? Why do you need our money to sent a single person to out of space? You spend 95 million for a single people while you can invest the money to lower down the burden of people who belive the Gov. Who should be working for us and not us working for them!!!!
kamal…i never said i was a citizen of MALAYSIA !!…please get your facts right !!…for kuno people like you, think that the internet is only accessable in malaysia..please go educate yourself first !!
Killer you might have a problem. Please see a good doctor. you poor thing 🙂
Samy its End of Life for your…Its better for your to step down and give way for young indian generation to take over the ledership in this country.
We can get into heated “dramatic” discussions here, and we can write thousands of words, and launch personal attacks on one another, and we can quote the sayings of many famous people but at the end of the day you can be sure there will not be any major changes anytime soon. Malaysia will never become a true democracy as long as the MAJORITY of Malaysians regardless of race or religion, do not change the way we think about and be more respectful of each other’s religion and race and unite for a common good. Things are also not going to change as long as we have inept and corrupt politicians in power who only have their self-interests at heart or are misguided zealots. Let’s face it, it is very evident that most of us have stereotypes about race and religion. You can see it happening right here in this blog site but making such comments serve no purpose other than to incite and provoke people’s emotions. In the past, we were more respectful and tolerant (and yes, scared to talk about those issues) but now the world is a smaller place and it is so easy for anyone to write anything you want and to stir up emotions and engage in all kinds of debate. Some of us can take to the streets for the right or wrongf reasons, and get some media attention out and the authorities are going to do whatever they can to stop this and to “save face”. Most of us are aware that there are all kinds of inequalities and double standards in place, not just for the Indians, but also for the other races. As Malaysians, we need to unite and to bring about effective changes and sometimes this may take some drastic measures so that the government will stand up and take notice. Remember..the whole world is watching!
Crazy Nuke
Debate with me if you think you have valid points. Only cowards will resort to diverting issues and name calling. Or perhaps you can’t defend HINDRAF’s actions so you have no choice but to make some stupid comments…??
hi hindraf we support to u makkal sakti valga,
indian
Dear Crazy Nuke,
1st of all are you Malaysian? therefore you and fellow Indian must comply to Malaysian Goverment Law. If you had read entirely Hindraf petition (which I doubt) it’s clear cut baseless and irresponsible for Hindraf whom claim represent all Malaysian Hindu Indian, to go overboard demanding British to go against beloved Malaysia. Its rediculous for you all Hindraf supporters to claim that it is to bring good to the discriminated/poor people in Malaysia. British is the founder of all evil in Malaysia. Malaysia Govermnet (BN and Components) is the one taking 50years to bring about economic progress and balance development to all Malaysian. Its not an easy task, learn history of British, America, Indonesia, India, etc. How many unjustise, brutality, and corruption has taken place. We should support the goverment and play our role in nation building. If you want justice and fair threatment, Play your role as peace loving Malaysian. No one is above the LAW, even the Sultan and Agong. I’m not interested to debate, my standing is not to support Hindraf, not to encourage Malaysian to support Hindraf.
Dear Prakash,
Easy said than done, to change mass majority Malaysian to accept your point of view, Hindraf point of view, opposition point of view, all that through unlawfull act, hooliganism, threatens, ask for foreign interference, irresponsible NGO. Do you think all that can change mass majority Malaysian ? the only way is through responsible and accountible organization like political party. Form a party that fight for all of that, choose your credible leader, work as team, good ethics, good administration. Show to all Malaysian how serious you are in combating unjustice, discrimination, unfair wealth distribution, and so on. Any other means will only bring more harm than good.
