finally, something that appeared on mainstream media (the NST) about the memorandum by HINDRAF. Just some hot air and no facts as usual 🙂
Samy Vellu hits back at Hindu Rights Action Force

PUTRAJAYA, FRI:
MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu today launched a stinging attack against a non-governmental organisation, the Hindu Rights Action Force (HINDRAF), which claimed that the Barisan Nasional (BN) government had done little to address the woes of the Malaysian Indian community over the last 50 years.
“I must state here that if there is anything that affects the Indian community, the MIC will be there to fight it out even when we are partners of the Barisan Nasional. To me, I have never remained idle and I don’t waste time,” Samy Vellu, who is also Works Minister, told Bernama today.
The MIC supremo was asked to comment on a 18-point memorandum by HINDRAF, which was handed to the Prime Minister’s office last Sunday by the organisation’s chairman P. Waytha Moorthy, secretary V.K Regu and its legal adviser P. Uthayakumar.
Apart from stating that the Indian community was marginalised by the BN government, in the memorandum, HINDRAF also wanted an end to special privileges given to Malays. The memorandum also took a dig at Umno asking the largest political party in the country to “stop playing politics” through the “mandore” (supervisor) system by dishing out aid to the Indian community on a piecemeal basis.

Hi BBN,
You can be malayalee, gujarati, bengali whatever you want to be but, first you have to be a human being. The monkeys which jumps from tree to tree are far better then some human beings.
What a shame, so! so! racist!
MP: statistics wise, not enough evidence to suggest that tamil school students won’t fare well after 10 (or more) years. i have equal number of friends from both schools who are doing well presently. secondly, the profile of parents who send kids to the schools and the schools’ location and infrastructure also play a role.
what`s the difference between an indian kid gettin his education in an indian school and an indian kid who goes to a good Malay or English speaking school ?
After 10 years….
The english speakin kid does well in the Global Business Environment.
The indian kid is standin in the hot sun on a sunday at a rally.
hehehe…. i just had to la guys..
again..crazy nuke, love indian…both of you guys are lamers la..such morons who supprts hindraf is not going to get entertained by me..anyway to all indians, pls stop talking about hindraf leaders..they deserved the ISA detention..but im sad its only 2 years..it should be more..
At least, ppl shd be aware that when u quote “Indians”..u r talking abt rationale Indians unlike BBN. Racism related problems is something that’s not easily solvable, but by being good broad-minded individuals, we could help nation achieve integrity.
By quoting such, BBN has proven he is indeed a rubbish within Indians as a whole..there’s nothing to be proud of with such statements. This is rather an individual problem, not community specific related….and indeed at times, we should be aware that biggest problem may lie within ourselves, not necessarily involving other races!

High Court strikes out ISA detainee’s habeas corpus application
————————————————–
(Eye account witness; Ipoh High Court; Dec 19, 2007)
It seemed the application for habeas corpus for the release of M.Manoharan, who was detained since last week in Kamunting under the provisions of the draconian Internal Security Act, was doomed from the beginning.
Not for lack of expert legal representation or debatable grounds of the applicant’s detention but the manner and attitude of the guardians of the people’s fundamental liberties and rights, ie, the judiciary.
Already mired in suspicion of being the lapdog of the executive branch of the government, today’s striking out of Manoharan’s habeas corpus application, that is, the manner in which the case was disposed of, succeeded only in deepening the distrust of the people in the independence of the judiciary.
The general opinions and sentiments of those present were that Justice Dato’ Mohd Ideres Mohd Rapee, in whose court the application was heard, could have employed a more judicious temperament, demonstrating his judicial wisdom befitting the dignity of the bench he occupies.
But, that was not to be.
For at 9.06am he struck out the application on such a flimsy ground that many of the 300 people gathered in the perimeter of the Ipoh High Court, including lawyers who were not party to the application, were astounded with the judge’s basis for declaring the application null and void.
In the sequence of events since the application was filed at the Ipoh High Court last Friday, the courts it seemed were acting in the manner of ‘washing their hands off the case’.
It was decided last Friday that the case will be heard by a rookie judicial commissioner, Ridwan Ibrahim, who was appointed to the bench only a few months ago by the former chief justice. Ridwan was a sessions court judge before he was appointed to his present position.
Perhaps for fear that the public may view negatively the move to give rookie Ridwan the case, this morning, the matter was taken out of Ridwan’s court (Ipoh’s High Court number 4) and passed on to Mohd Ideres’s court (ie, court number 2).
And, then the drama began.
When the case was called, the counsels present on behalf of Manoharan were M.Kulasegaran, A.Sivaneson and R.S.N. Nayar.
Karpal Singh, the lead counsel was not present at 9am but he was only a few minutes away from the courts.
The counsels present applied for a short stand down as Karpal, whom the court was informed of being the lead submitter in the case, was on his way. The counsels had asked for a 15-minute adjournment.
Mohd Ideres refused to entertain the counsels’ request, saying that Karpal should have been present in the court at 9am.
It is interesting to note that in (almost) every cases, the courts will grant adjournments of between half-an-hour to one or two hours for the counsels in disputes to be present before the courts so that they can address the judges about their cases.
But, this case proved to be that exception to the norm. And, despite being addressed with the notion that ‘justice hurried is justice denied’, the judge hurriedly decided to strike out the application.
The hasty manner in which the application was struck out confounded even other lawyers handling their matters at the Ipoh High Courts. Most of them expressed their surprise and shock at the way the proceeding was carried out and opined that the manner was ‘fishy, of dubious nature and smacked of interference’.
But, the matter does not rest in Ipoh. Karpal said Manoharan’s team of lawyers will be refiling the habeas corpus application at the Kuala Lumpur High Court in the afternoon.
Despite his attempt to sound impartial about the decision, Kulasegaran could not hold back his sentiment when he said that the case was judge-fixed, a term referring to interference by the top guys in the judiciary who prefer to see a particular outcome of a case.
The counsels would surely continue with the struggle of challenging the legality of Manoharan’s, as well as other detainees’, arrest, stressed Kulasegaran.
However, this time Karpal, if not the whole team, cannot afford again not to be punctual. The walk now continues in KL!
Its a waste of productive time and public money. Everybody should relook at their resposibility.
I m in Inodnesia and the picture painted by HINDRAF and the oposition is as though our country is unlawfull and unstable. I want my family to love peacefully with all races. So I support the govt decision to cool off everything even the use of ISA.
Hey Hj Othman,
In Indon the gov will break the church and in malaysia they break teh hindu temples….is this peacefull? And a malay girl was held for drug smuggle and will be hang in china… which is more malu than what ever you trying to say. Come on…look at your own back 1st!!!
MP: Hj Othman, I’m always intrigued by the phrase “BANGSA AGAMA DAN NEGARA.” which is always used in daily life by politicians. leaders, and common folks. How nice if we say it as “NEGARA, BANGSA DAN AGAMA” to show that all of us appreciate our country and value it above any other things. Sadly, we don’t seem to put country first, but put other divisive elements in front. How sad that we rather spill blood for other things first rather than our country. This is the source of problem in our country. Our Negaraku also emphasises “Tanah tumpah darahku”, even though the meaning is different.
Dear Crazy Nuke…
You must bee too young or have never travel the world to see what we have in Malaysia.
What I see is ungratefullness of the younger generation of Indians who think just because you can speak english you become arrogant of others. As for the malay girl probably she is mixed up law the law takes its course of action. All of us will die one way or the other. Saya sedia berjuang sehingga titisan darah yang terakhir untuk BANGSA AGAMA DAN NEGARA. Bila Bila masa sahaja. Jangan di cabar secara blogging hanya pengecut sahaja buat begini.
Fellow brother Indians,
Lets cooperate among ourselves, help each other for a better Indian race in this country, preach the importance of education to our people, help eliminate gangster-ism by giving a hand to the younger generation and boost our economical stand so that we would be always valuable to the nation.
All guys and gals, let us start a new wave of development that is to help each other in order to improve our socio-economic status. Let us begin helping each other and eliminate the crab philosophy (not allowing progress among ourselves). Let us change for the better.
I do hope there would be somebody out there to agree with my statement. Let us put this good message out to our Hindraf leaders who had done their part. Now it is up to us to prove ourselves valuable to the nation, now and always.
Any suggestions for a better society?
Fellow brother Indians,
I am a Tamil and i really feel depressed upon reading the comment by BBN. Why has he passed such a statement? It is for we Tamils to deeply contemplate on it. So, let us start cleaning up.
Don’t get offended for what BBN had said. BBN would not have said it without a reason.
To all our Malay friends out there!! Please understand that it is not Hindraf that is causing problems. It is the cronies at UMNO whom are using the malay to fight other malays and using poor malays to rampas other races rights while the UMNO cronies are robbing the nation in daylight robbery of the rakyat’s taxpayers money. The poor hindus and chinese are working like slaves and also the poor bumiputra are still wondering why the malays are soooo poor after 50 years of independence while the UMNO cronies are getting richer and richer without explaination. So it is not the Hindus, Hindraf, poor melayu or chinese that is causing the problem. It is the corrupted UMNO in power that is causing the problem. UMNO is not equal to MALAY. UMNO = Under Me No Other which actually excludes all poor people. Poor People = Poor Malays + Poor Indians + Poor Chinese. In the next few years, the total combine income of all poor malaysians will be 5% of UMNO’s wealth. So, take note : our common enemy is not HINDRAF but UMNO. Let’s us all unite and remove the cronies from UMNO!!! Or we will all sink….
not much jobs in malaysia that can pay good salary…so it is time to goto other countries to find job….SME and SMI market is dead…no support from govt huh??
The way to express things is key!!..The way BBN expressed is indeed a reflection of racism!
And you dun need ppl like BBN to tell you such “facts”..it’s not tied to race rather the individuals….if one owns a brain that wd calculate, evaluate and summarize based on data/statistics.
One simple data abt a great Tamilian….Prof. Abdul Kalam who was thrown out from the reign indirectly thru pressure from the group consists of various races!!…even though deep inside, they know Abdul Kalam is a genuine leader…atleast BBN’s motion is well denied with this example alone.
Go and see the fights/bomb blasts across India where majority is concentrated in the northen region…?..No need to condemn any particular race so generally..it’s indeed painting how much ignorant one can become! Statistically, it cld still be the Tamils who are in the lead when comes to gangsterism etc.. in Malaysia, but let’s debate with data. Eventually, things wd still roll under certain individual categories but summarizing “A race= bad”, “B,C,D,E races = great” without any data is irrationale coz u will find holes everywhere unless u simply make up the numbers!!
Dj, we need to clean up..yess..all of us. BBN said that for one reason..he has an inferior feeling toward Tamils..that’s abt it!!..else JUST SHOW DATA…and make it a globalized one.
Othman/Hj Othman/Man,
Sorry.. i don’t know how to address you..
Don’t get me wrong… I’m not arrogant nor my english make me act arrogantly.. it’s totally unacceptable your claim that indians with english knowledge are arrogant.. only you guys are boasting with all kind of status/position/or awards infront of your names and expect others to respect you while you throw your words like nobodies bussiness..
Give respect and take respect (how simple is it)!!
\
Terima kasih tuan haji othman (i hope i’m correct here).
Umanan,
Let us do something for the Tamils and those who wish to be in our boat no matter what their races are. Let us preach the message to help each other.
As for BBN, he/she is disgraced to be categorized with the Tamils. If that is the case, BBN should not be having anything to do with Tamils. You know why? Thats because we are quite civilized that we Tamils do not need someone like BBN.
Let’s get the Tamils to help each other. For a start, we might want to look at each other with at least a smile and not an antagonizing stare. Let us perpetuate friendship. We have it in Hinduism, which is the relationship between man and man, man and nature and lastly, man and the Supreme Conscious (GOD). Pass this message to the Tamils.
Good day to you Umanan.
Peace to all Indians in Malaysia
Peace to all races in Malaysia.
May God bless all.
You are right jobstreet, there’s not much jobs in Malaysia as all the projects and large govt contracts are taken up by GLCs – no more leftovers for small and medium size companies like SMI/SME. Time to go to china to look for jobs. Even the foreigners and not allowed to be employed by companies working on Iskandar projects, all companies residing in Southern corridor must employ locals first….see.http://www.bernama.com.my/bernama/state_news/news.php?id=303785&cat=et
damn bad here like there’s not enough jobs in the market for locals. Maybe our govt should try to see if they can resolve the floods first, every year also got floods. Our Malaysian floods also cannot solve – somemore want to open more corridors, hahaha what a joke our govt!!!
MP: Edited.
Hj Othman ,
Bangsa melayu mgm suka dicabar…If you think i am corward…why don’t you give your email address or even your address. Let people search you and then you tell them you dare to be dicabar. I am so sorry for malays as you need 40 years to bring up in your life and now you still want the Gov to help melayu! What a pity bangsa if i am Melayu i will hang myself.
dj, yes. In simple terms, regardless of Tamils etc etc, we have to do our part for the family, community, and country as a whole to the very least. I remember one of the dialogues in the movie Anniyan brings about the same concept.
If individuals are doing great things, it will surely add up and prosper the things around you.
It’s the individuals that shd be blamed for the mismanagement leading to various issues, not the race. Maika shares, jelapang toll, freed-zakaria bungalow related matters are just some examples of how of individual in power abuses/disregards things. Don’t know what happened to the report card thing that our Premier talked about in the last election. In summary, u may see a bad Tamil/Malay but it’s not the race that shd be blamed..
On the other hand, those things that were raised by Uthayakumar and co. shd have been raised by MIC gently/firmly over-time to ensure amicable solutions are reached for all the Indians. Atleast, ppl shd know where MIC stands now!!
Umanan,
Nice to hear from you. Let any guy mismanage anything but we should just be on our track doing our work, nothing but our work towards our goals.
True that many now know the true colors of MIC but that should be where, we should unite for the sake of society development. Just accept the fact that politics is just another heap of stinking rubbish shrouded by a curtain of promises and false hopes but you also have to accept another fact that politicians are all human with countless desires. Hindraf had intervened for the plight of the Indians. Now, let us work, work and work with such a level of co-operation among ourselves that for once the Indians in Malaysia would be well regarded as a race that is a gemstone for the nation.
Let us think on how we are going to do that? We might need more of our people to come together, the new generation with a paradigm shift. I am not emphasizing on modernizations based on Tamil movies and revealing attires but education, cooperation and working together towards a goal. A simple example to quote is by looking at the Tamil Chettiar clans which have observed discipline and perseverance and now they are very successful as compared to the other Tamil groups.
I hope I don’t sound like a minister who is laying forth a new development plan. If so, you can laugh over it.
Time has come not to blame the others for what they have not done, Now, we should deeply contemplate on how we can discipline ourselves to work along with peers and friends for a societal goal.
Good day Umanan.
On the helm of these atrocities, please relate your support to the only group representing us and making it visible at the international platform.
The recent Bersih protest has tarnished the nation’s stand on democracy and the world is watching on the next course of action by the goverment. Meaning to say, after the reckless conduct which had a broadway screening on the news (international), the Malaise-an goverment will spare the rods for the next protest, supposedly to show that the democracy prevails here.
Hence, this is the best timing, judging by years of nuisance cover-ups and conduct, to march the streets to extend our support the group.
Rather than taking the struggle to the streets on a calm occasion where you coud be sighted for unlawful assembly and have chemical sprayed-on, it is best to do it while the eyes are on the nation.
Go for it….if not now, when?
Hj Othman,
If you think we are confronting the malays, then why did Kerismudin says that we would like to bath our keris wif chinese blood a couple of years ago?? Please dun cabar us chinese, we hav 100 million army in china, do something bad to our brothers in Malaysia, and you can be damn sure we will do the same to all malays residing in overseas. Remember there’s over 1 billion oversea chinese residing in many countries even in dubai and canada. Just imagine if you try to play up the racial issue and see what our oversea chinese brothers is going to do to your race. Anyway, just to let Haji Othman know, it is not the indians or the chinese is causing your problem-why is bumiputra still so poor after 50 years of independence is because the UMNO Sapiens are plundering our rakyat’s money via EPF and Taxes. Even the NEP is not design to help poor bumiputras or poor malays, the NEP is design to help the rich UMNOs. So please unite and remove the UMNO robbers and we will all live in peace.
Dj, yes. We’ll still hope that “Malaysians” in power can do something for the poor…and at the same time be rationale to all the races…ppl shd be aware that any god wd not accept temple demolition sort of things..He whom u believe as god is watching u..this is what ppl shd be aware when dealing with sensitive things…
Generally, conditions in Kelantan, Sabah and Sarawak aren’t too good either…hope govt. will do something for the improvement of indegenious ppl there….
Dear Chong Ming,
Cut the bullshit, all that millions of army are more concern handling Taiwan, Japan, etc issues. Whats going on in Malaysia is petty issues to them. Any other minority races in all over the world must take care of themselves, observe majority sensitivity, learn to live in peace and harmony. Who said Malay are so poor, who said chinese are so rich, who said Indian are marginalised ??? the opposition right ?? they are the one being marginalised simply because being opposition they have to condemm, critics, bluff, etc. They have no responsibility to develop the nation, maintain the security, deliver their promisess. They will give millions of excuses, just to win some votes and seats in state or parliment. Please be realistic, BN has done so much good than evil, UMNO has garnered unity in BN for Malaysia towards peace and harmony. Do you think opposition has any better way of doing it with insufficient number of seats to lead the government. Hell !! NO !! what they will do is to weaken the majority Malay, that leads to weaken of the BN coalition. Then those minority will be happy, simply to take opportunity with weaken unity of Malay. Malaysia can only prosper with strong and united majority Malay, and minority races. We are united, we all will live in peace.
umana, you are such a low iq guy la,what do you mean by indigenous ppl is backward in sarawak/sabah?im living here and i see they are much more better than indians in semenanjung..you indian ppl are too lazy..pak pandir is not malay la..he is pak pandian actually..india pemalas
Umanan,
looks like you are aware of the the indigenous people and their conditions. I have heard the same. You must understand that there are agendas and there is no free lunch. Thre must be some sort of trade in their context. As a Hindu, I do also feel for them. Be they any form of life, God still dwells in every single soul. I do hope there lies some prospect of proper livelihood for them.
As for us, have you ever pondered why the Indians are still left back despite having a leader and a a couple of leaders at the state and district levels? If we are going to blame the leader, what have we done among ourselves to for the change?
Imagine our Indian leaders as the main pillars holding the super-structure (socio-economy status of Indians in Malaysia)in its place and we are the small pebbles, closely knit together in proximity, also supporting the super-structure. As the pebbles, are we ourselves lacking a sense of closeness? Do we want to fall together with the pillars (leaders) leaving the super-structure to crumble? In other words, if the pillars are shoddy, aren’t we still able to keep the super-structure steady? Remember, we decide our Indian leaders. If they do not perform, we should still be able to strive and we perform among ourselves. This can only happen when we are well bound for co-operation. It is not an easy task for an Indian leader to ensure his/her society prospers as we ourselves are dispersed into various groups, languages due to our ancestral demography. It looks like we need people like the Hindraf or even we ourselves to route the Indians towards society-building activities, co-operation and various constructive means.
Do preach such sermons of constructive socialization among our Indian fellows so we can make a change and are valued by the country. I think that it is time look at the change from
with in.
Good day Umanan.
-dj-
Pablo, I reckon u r one of the selfish ones! Analytical members would know the actual situation in those states, let’s bring down the poverty rate first if u r naive abt what I was trying to point out.
The Indians are not living so poorly as one would think despite the truth that they may not be getting as much aid/help from the government…so get ur facts right!
The struggle is to ensure government plays it equally for all, and not biased in dealing with sensitive issues as we’re not 3rd class citizens….
dj, yes ..In my opinion, individual contribution to the community and nation is the first thing. Hindraf is indeed the type of force required but it wd be great if it’s called Indraf instead to represent all the Indians. I’d still insist that MIC shd look into the plight of poor Indians and Tamil schools nationwide…. atleast…apart from ensuring no further temple demolitions…this is not an individual work and that’s why we need reps. in this form for the community…they hv to shoulder the responsibility or just resign and go!
Dear Umanan,
“…this is not an individual work and that’s why we need reps. in this form for the community…they hv to shoulder the responsibility or just resign and go!”
you’ve stress it cristal clear, this reps you talking about should be given due support and respect. They’ve done miracle to elivate Malaysian Indian considering the fact they were based in estate.
The same applies to Malay, Chinese and etc, the leaders was given due support and respect. No goverment in the world can claim they govern equally for all. It’s about people, civil society, education and development. Every Malaysian shall grab the opportunity or at least seek for opportunity through caring citizen like you.
What do you all are thinking, government is not GOD, they are human. You can ask anything from GOD, it’s either you got it or you god it in some other form, so please mind your what you asking from the government.
kekeke… from Hindraf to 100 million chinese armies ready to whoop some malay asses.
You guys are either really bored or really dumb la..
it`s fun to read dumb postings though. hehehe
Hey jebat2007,
Let’s see if we come and demolish your Masjid!!! Will you keep shut up? We are only fighting our rights with Gov not with Malays! You need to get the facts right! Please mind your language and be more Malaysian than Melayu!
Walcott,
If you are looking at some fun blog session please go to doremon page. We are not talking bullshits here.
Jebat2007, yes and we’re not saying govt == god.
But, some quarters making up the govt are insensitive when they shd have used their brain more than their mind. All religions in the world preaches good things and well behaviour, so why would one find a destructive solution as compared to an amicable one since govt == good (not sarcastic). A good govt. would find good solutions for the issues that are raised by the people.. We’re talking abt various issues involving Indians..or rather Malaysians I shd say…it’s not as simple as coming out from estate to city and u r done!..that’s not how shallow one shd think…things must be looked into case by case with data.
Personally, I think university entry is one other thing..why not have a single entry system? No Malaysianism in it…and it’s even more odd to hear that such a thing is called merit system.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I reckon nobody is asking why govt is not equal to god?..If this is United States, govt. wd be obliged to answer all the allegations thrown at them to prove their innocense, not using ISA to throw/contain ppl who hv raised valid concerns.
Sorry to say this, but the govt. has to have better maturity in handling issues more constructively after 50 yrs of independence…am afraid they’re still lacking in that. You can see how MPs fight things off, sometimes with racial slurs in the Dewan Rakyat..worst than small kids.
I am happy that indians today have started to think that we all have to be united in thoughts and in action .Thanks to Hindraf for your noble effort. i am very sure that the belssing of the everlasting God will always be there with u guys. Good job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. My support is always with u guys.
HINDRAF VALGAE
Umanan, Suresh,
Lets do our part. Preach the importance of unity among our Indian friends in Malaysia so we could be reckoned for our strength and the government should recognize our existence for our contribution towards the well being of this nation.
Let us do this little part for a bigger and a constructive result while looking forward for dynamic leaders to lead the mass of our society.
Good day to you guys.

Can you go and bang your head sumwhere else.If you can’t support indians just go and do your work don’t come and give bad feedback about indians.
Pablo, u sound quite idiotic..haha. It’s a sound and solid demand based on data that has shattered the govt. No constructive challenge that’s made other than to shut them via ISA.
You read that as asking for help? …
BTW, if you’re an Indian, you shd feel disgraced a bit lah…
umana,
dont be idiot by calling ppl idiot allrite..wateva..indians in this country(not all)only those like you and those bunch of monkeys which dont deserved to live in malaysia..what i suggest pls go back to india or whic ever you prefer and no racism involved.
indians cant help their own families also la..even if an indian is in difficulties another indian wont bother about that..dont talk about rights first..look at the community in general..they are lack behind..how many percent of indian students get straight a’s denied entry to public uni?chinese dont get place to public uni wont go for a rally but try to get a place in private uni..why this thing happen?why?
first of all they help each other…believe me umanan, crazy nuke or who ever think that im a disgrace to indians..i do help ppl who need..why not start help your own ppl and then when we are economically strong our voice can be listened.sure for time being pls work, study, strive hard for a great future and Hindraf is not fighting for us but they are trying to gain some political interest.thats all.
Waow….pablo..that’s why I said..u r a selfish person!!!…u must understand that u can’t do all the things alone..some yes u can not all!!University entry is one of the kind..
What a brainy fella u r…so logical to even say the current entry system is just fine. Certainly, when ppl give u problem, u may end up doing better with courage etc..that’s what happens with the Chinese and even Indians these days as they just forget abt Form6 and local university entry….
But, ur brain shd assess if this system is indeed correct?..sometimes or most of the times, we r not in the position to influence the changes but no excuses not even to assess the situation!!

2. DBKL (Datuk Bandar KL cekap robohkan CAR WASH india sahaja .
3. goverment say dont give goverment vecancy to all indian and indian muslim .
To those who talks/thinks so bad about India, you may wanna stop doing that…bad individuals are everywhere..India similar to Malaysia is a great country regardless..
As Raja said, slowly and surely lots of doors are being closed in stages by authorities not just for Indians..but basically for all non-Malays…however we can’t dwell too much on everything. But it’s disheartening to see even the very basics are exploited…higher education & temple demolitions especially….even surprising to see some Indians dun even acknowledge all these as something incorrect. Dun talk about the rally….let’s just debate the concerns raised by Hindraf. PM and MIC acknowledged them so deeply inside that u’re seeing the developments on that almost daily in the newspapers..else why is this change all of a sudden??..they r the politically motivated ppl…
However, it wd be great to have Hindraf leaders as MPs too..atleast some level of questioning on status quo items wd prevail..
come on guys..pls help malaysian indians…i need money now..crazy nuke, umanan pls help..you are such great ppl who help indians…i need money can you help?MIC cannot help also..hindraf also cannot do anything..how about you guys..can ahh?
Pablo, what r the things u asked MIC and who was responding to you. If you could share that, we wld know their credibility better….
just wondering, why no one condemn or comment when in the newspaper the job vacancies advertisement mentioned “chinese prefered”? This is how chinese helped ourself. same goes to bumiputra in goverment agencies which is controlled by malays, but they never mentioned obviously in the advertisment. do u ever think that? back to chinese matter, don’t u ever think why we are success anywhere in the world not matter we are majority or minority, get a support from a goverment or not. i totally disagree with hindraf (not all indian) and again i use the word begging. u may call me racist or selfish, but that is the reality. we are selfish for our community. we are selfish for our own country. if our country live in peace and harmony, economy not goes down. temple issue is another thing, u may say that those temple reside for more than 100 years, but how about the legal matter?is the temple reside on other’s land?is there any proper documentation on that? and sometimes, some of my friends which is contractor says it is very hard to do development at the squarters area especially at the place where most are indian.they do offer a replacement site for the temple, but yet don’t want.my sugession is why dun u guys get local authority approval fist before built your temple. and if the 100years old temple been demolished, i think u may ask for replacement site.u brain laa…even other religion can relocate their religios house, why can’t u? u know how hard town planner does their job?even singapore do the same thing. they really plan for the development. cannot simply build a statue or what. INDIA (country) is now on havoc again, last time hindus fight with muslim, now fight with cristian. do u ever realised that we are in malaysia live in the peace and harmony. maybe Hindraf never involve in 13May tragedy, but we chinese involved.my father told me this thing should not be happened again if we unite to built the country. u think if we chinese been slaughtered by malays like what happened in Indonesia CHINA will help????don’t dream!!! they have more interest on TAIWAN rather than malaysia.who is gonna help ourself? we chinese in malaysia will help ourself. think about it again, selfish for the sake of good is nothing wrong. now all those 5 HINDRAF leaders are in ISA. so who is gonna continue their jobs? some of u here? think about it.
Samy Vellu is a long standing parasitical lowlife example of how one’s values can be corrupted when you sell your soul to the devil. The man even wears a toupee!!
Chong, fyi…ppl in India are more united that what one wd think….of course u wd see some racial intolerance from time to time not just in India, but even United States..so let’s not dwell too much on particular cases. Religious tolerance is even more deep where a Hindu can just walk into a mosque or church for prayers and vice versa without any force. Sorry to say..we may be advertising that racial integrity is great here etc etc..but it’s indeed not as great deep inside even though we may not have high profile fighting cases like they do…one other thing is that most of the things here are in closed loop unlike India or United States where they couldn’t hide so much…it may be good for one reason but at the expense of no transparency…
Being self sufficient is one thing and that’s how Malaysians especially those who dun seek government’s help are living, but demanding/challenging rights that r aligned to constitution is another. So, u may want to think more broadly.
