finally, something that appeared on mainstream media (the NST) about the memorandum by HINDRAF. Just some hot air and no facts as usual 🙂
Samy Vellu hits back at Hindu Rights Action Force

PUTRAJAYA, FRI:
MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu today launched a stinging attack against a non-governmental organisation, the Hindu Rights Action Force (HINDRAF), which claimed that the Barisan Nasional (BN) government had done little to address the woes of the Malaysian Indian community over the last 50 years.
“I must state here that if there is anything that affects the Indian community, the MIC will be there to fight it out even when we are partners of the Barisan Nasional. To me, I have never remained idle and I don’t waste time,” Samy Vellu, who is also Works Minister, told Bernama today.
The MIC supremo was asked to comment on a 18-point memorandum by HINDRAF, which was handed to the Prime Minister’s office last Sunday by the organisation’s chairman P. Waytha Moorthy, secretary V.K Regu and its legal adviser P. Uthayakumar.
Apart from stating that the Indian community was marginalised by the BN government, in the memorandum, HINDRAF also wanted an end to special privileges given to Malays. The memorandum also took a dig at Umno asking the largest political party in the country to “stop playing politics” through the “mandore” (supervisor) system by dishing out aid to the Indian community on a piecemeal basis.
Hello Indians…
You guys probably need to look at your mentality.. your attitudes… don’t blame people when you just can’t compete with others… what a sad people you guys are !
I’m very proud of malaysian indian and Mr. utayakumar n Co’s of their actions towards m’sian goverment. I think this is still not late for us to fight for our own rights. I feel ashamed of the action taken by m’sian gvt for being soo cheap by using police force in a cruel manner against us… even after being told as its an Humble request.
from the action taken by m’sian gvt, we could understand that they’re guilty and affraid of what they did to us so far. Its kind of a victory to us too…
Anyways, may our great god will be always with us to protect us and the victory will be ours.
Justice will win.
We’re indians… will be always Malaysian indians.
i wonder why people bring gandhi’s picture to the demonstration done by Hindraf. if we love malaysia, i think we should bring the picture of tunku abdul rahman and their team including tun sambanthan and tun tan cheng lock who had struggle in giving malaysia a ‘merdeka’. learn the history…think carefully dun just use emotions….
love the peace malaysia
Hi Indians,
I’m amazed with HINDRAF ..to be honest. Nobody have thought the idea to take a legal action against British govt. Whether we will be granted with money is doesn’t matter but what is important we are sending message to the world and goverment. HINDRAF classic file suit will be in law history..hats off!!!.
Anyway coming back today’s hot news..speech by SK DEVAMANY is absolutely rubbish. He couldn’t answer the newscaster question…he doesnt know the meaning of democracy. Poor man.
All the best to Hindraf team. Salute you guys..it takes courage to do this.
Hindraf is da bes. A big salute 4 u.
Gud luck with the Queen Elisabeth.
gandhi=peace
he never used violence
that is what we are trying to portray. a peaceful rally. dont have to handle us so harshly when we just requested for a peaceful march. so bringing the picture of mahathma gandhi has a meaning; i suppose. i can understand ^_^
Well done Hindraf….!
We must support for our rights…..
Hi… MIC guys please shut your bleedy mouths.
What you all done in pass 50 years back? ..nothinglah…
You all just fill your own pocket.
Next election majority of indian wont vote for BN…
Datuk S…, hello botak bila nak letak jawatan ?
Kerusi kau belum panaskah?.. Bagilah
peluang kepada genarasi muda…
Pengikut pengikut Datuk.S… is’t you all realy indian? Do you know that the HINDRAF fighting for what and for who… Please support for them.
VALGA HINDRAF ….
VALGA TAMIL …..
VALGA TAMIL MAKKAL…
VALRGA TAMIL SAMUTAYAM….
OLIGA DATUK BOTAK……
I strongly agree with HINDRAF, never ever in any countries that the governmernt has been questioned, now in Malaysia for the first time we did.. Definitely the government have to answer for it… May god bless our fights for justice..
This is a sad sad month for Malaysia. Even after 3 protest, the first is 2,000 lawyers going to Putrajaya, 2nd is BERSIH with 40,000 people to hand letter to King and now 20,000 people marching in KLCC my god, when is UMNO going to understand that the rakyat is getting feed-up of UMNO??? All these marchers are from all races which includes the poor melayu, the poor chinese and the poor indians. How come UMNO people are all rich? MCA are also rich? and MIC Sami Veloo acts like a billionaire?? that’s because they have plundered all our rakyat’s taxpayers money and also our EPF. I can see a lot of MCA politicians driving BMW while the poor chinese have to struggle selling VCDs to make a living. I can see Khairi Jamaluddin the son-in law of PM driving a sports car and also staying in a bangalow worth millions of dollars, do you think Khairi earns it wif sweat??? dun you think it comes from the rakyat’s taxpayers money?? So why are Malaysians still so stupid to contribute taxes?? Because they are afraid of UMNO. Seems like UMNO and the govt is extorting money from the rakyat, how many billions is going to the pockets of these UMNO cronies – we can see for ourself with mega projects while the poor nelayan and poor melayu farmers still live in the attap house. Do you think Barisan National is helping us rakyat?? Think again…..look see who is driving mercedes and BMWs?????
If anyone want to know the real reasons why the Indians in Malaysia can’t compete with the Chinese, this blogs has tons of evidence.
Just look at the comments here, all emotional and irrational utterings, without a shred of logic.
Bringing Gandhi’s picture is an INSULT to the great Saint. Gandhi never preached violence or hatred. He just preached non-cooperation. He never uttered seditious statements on others nor he used religion for political purposes.
These Hindraf people like just a bunch of opportunists who is leading the naive Indians to their doom.
To those so-called heroes who broke the law and attended the rally today, let me ask a question. What did you accomplish today ? Do you think the Malaysian govt will agree to your requests after this ?
And what’s next ? Wait for the British govt to reply ? Or organize more rallies ? The only thing you have accomplished today is to create some publicity in the international media and this will be quickly forgotten in a few days. Of course you can organize rallies everyday but after a few times, Al Jazeera and BBC will be quickly lose interest and move on. It is not that they have some special feelings for the Indian community.
I don’t see you have a plan or any chance of succeeding. Go ahead and vote for the Opposition or the HINDRAF people. Do you think it will make a difference when we are only 7% of the population ?
This could be painful to hear but there is nothing that HINDRAF can achieve for Indians other than give the “Syok sendiri” feeling by organizing talks and rallies. Folks, this is not Patti Mandram or Tamil movie, this is real life. Wake up !!
These people have been blaming UMNO but my dear friends, like it or not we need UMNO and not the other way around. It is better to have UMNO as a friend than an enemy. The accusations that UMNO has deprived Indians is so lame that it is so racist.
Please understand that it is NOT UMNO or NEP that make Indians backward but the real cause is YOU, the Indians themselves. NEP is not fair, granted but its impact is negligible. Please remember, only losers blame others for their failures. People who succeed take responsibilites and shed self-pity.
Helma Noor
In case you are confused, we have a thing called Election which is held every 5 years so the rakyat can voice out their opinion on the govt they want.
If we use rallies as indicators of people’s opinion, then we will have rallies everyday in Malaysia.
That you have a job and live in a house and not in some squatter colony is evidence enough that the govt has done enough for the rakyat. There are hundreds of millions of Indonesias, Filipinos, Indians, Bangladeshis, Pakistanis,Chinese are waiting to come to Malaysia.
Wake up and thank your lucky stars that you have what you have….instead of bitching on how unfair the BN govt is.
Hindraf perjuangkan apa? Jangan senang2 guna perkataan India… bukan semua India agama Hindu…. Negara sudah aman… tapi masih ada rakyat Malaysia yang terlalu emosi…. tengok negara lain… bukan aman sangat… kalau ada citizen macam ni… kita takut imej Malaysia yang aman akan jatuh… nanti ekonomi jatuh.jadi darurat, penjajah masuk… mau makan ubi kayu lagi ka ?
I am a devotee of lord munishwar from usa; I am horrified to know that the temple is demolished. Please contact me for any financing/organizing help towards this racially discriminative malays
thanks
MP: edited for profanity and insult against religion.
Malaysia is a beautiful country by every means of it speaks wonderful. What is so sad to see is that many foreigners fail to see wha is happening in real context. They are not to be blame, i say tis bcoz the custom we practice or to be specific is a closed door democratism. Meaning that, we are only democractic by name but not in actions. Not only being an Indian i’m writing this, but being a Malaysian. As far as i’m concern, the first thing to start with is to change our country’s name “MALAYSIA” change it and it will make a lot of diff. MALAYsia, isn’t that particular name gives an ego to the bumi’s? How ridiculuos!!! There are many aspects that has brought us to an extreme of explosion as on the 25/11 rally. Many supports HINDRAF and the rest goes with the goverment. It is very simple indeed, lets put thing in order and be logic in matters.
Malaysia is a country which consist the strenght of three diff races which are Malays, Chinese and Indians. Very well known for our peaceful and harmonies living. No matter what the race are, we are still Malaysians. Back to the history i noe, which wz 50 years ago. A Chinese wz able to speak our national lg even better than the Malays. They were good in their language. Look at them now? Why is the use of lg not cherised? Why are their generations being brought in a private education system? Tink…!!!
I like watchin P.Ramlee movies, and he himself practice interacial relationships. I saw a movie, whr he got hooked up with a Chinese woman! Thts @#$% cool!
Now…”Cina makan babi” Cina kotor”.
This is all very open and logic, as time passes by and a new leader comes in, every1 as their own way of accepting and ruling things. Malaysia, a graceful nation once now claimed as a terrorist country. When ppl of the superiors change, so does the faith of our nation. All we ask is equal rights? Is that too much? We are not like the Chinese, as they noe their fate in this country and they work themselves up. Why? Bcoz in history, many of the main trading wz given to them, so afta 50 years majority of them are financialy secured and they are the backbone of the country from the economical sector. We Indians are like dust in this country. We cant fight alone. We need help.
Not being rude, but the Malays…the very Malyas, you are being very racist! You want Islam and dying to help other Islamic country. Oh plz ma gov, help ur ppl 1st b4 laying your nose across the sea. Its our money being spent for your fame and dirty politics.
***** bombs, kills, rapes, and many more(specific)…do we see any other race who does that?
Atuk ***** cucu, ayah ***** anak….it’s all you **** *****…we noe what is love and lust and relationship and their limits. Not till a barbaric action like you guys. I’m sure…u noe that, as Nurins suspects wz an ***** too. Is this wht ur ***** thought u ppl? @$#% u ppl and religion…!
If u wanna noe the real truth, dig up in researching! You will noe that Islam is only an ideology. Meaning, an idle way of living. Ideology changes, not religion!
5% for bumis, 10% for bumis and all the assets of the world for bumis. Hell u ppl…wht makes u ppl diff from us. You ******** don speak that well off English so your fate is only here. Earning around 600 per month, getting married and given discounts merely in everything…even buyin yur undergarments. Shit!!!
I have good Malay friend ,coz they can think out of the box. The noe what is good and bad. They enjoy life and yes they are humans.Making monthly inspections to churches jz to see whether a Malay is converting or not.How stupid of you ppl?
The gov has done a lo for the country, by a lot is not the matter, what matters is not the quantity but the quality.
To all Malaysian, we are strong when we are together, pls supports us Indians as you too are in the same boat once upon a time fighting with the whites. Now the fight is for our RIGHTS.
Thx you. God bless ma ppl and country.

i’ve been reading the star for ages. this time, i’m ashamed at the reporting the did.
Gandhian principles ? Non-violent ? peaceful assembly ? I am ashamed to be an Indian….those who took part in the rally..you guys are a disgrace to the community…The only point that you have proven is that yet again that the Indians are indeed a gangster community and a violent bunch of people….
See the report below….Shame you !!
Batu Caves temple property damaged, 69 protesters held
KUALA LUMPUR: Demonstrators broke into the Batu Caves temple compound and destroyed temple property early yesterday morning, Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said.
He said the crowd that had gathered there swelled from a mere 200 people just after midnight to more than 1,000 by about 2am.
“The demonstrators forced open the locked gates and started breaking temple property, prompting the temple committee to lodge a police report,” he said.
Minutes later several trucks of policemen, including those in plainclothes and members of the Light Strike Force unit, arrived at the temple and told the demonstrators to disperse.
However, they refused and instead fled into the temple premises, when police gave them a last warning.
When policemen pursued them, the demonstrators pelted and attacked them with stones and inter-locking bricks, resulting in several policemen being injured.
The demonstrators also threw a Molotov cocktail at a tourist charter bus, setting in on fire. They also shattered the windscreens and windows of several passing cars by throwing stones and bricks at the vehicles.
Musa said no tear gas or water cannons were used at the demonstrators during the incident.
“By about 4am, 69 people had been arrested,” he added.
As at press time, police were keeping a close watch on the area
i support the HINDRAF…100%
To all Indians lets go after hindraf.. they r fighting for us for our future….let us take this chance to fight for justice. Breaking the temples are too much. How if we break the mosques will they be quiet?? Of course not.. So we hv to prove it also.. come on all lawyers n youngsters show ur power…
breaking temple is most rude and only ghost and k toyol will do this job and remember you should pay for this . the almighty God is watching you . fcuk foo
Dear Daboo
Well i guess you think that yourself are soo wise and think out of the box. Maybe you are just too far out the box & going to sky.
quote you “If u wanna noe the real truth, dig up in researching! You will noe that Islam is only an ideology. Meaning, an idle way of living. Ideology changes, not religion!” Where did you got this stuff. dont bluff that you did research, I could do the same to yours.
To all other fellow malaysians (indian). Please be mindful on religion issue. Muslim have faith in theirs as you have faith in yours, its crystal clear. So, no point of trying to put unnecesary struggle, it will be endless.
your main objective was to ask for fair treatment not to destroy others, dont you? Don’t do what you dont want others do to you. Its simple.
On the malays special rights, if we were as developed as other races (eg chinese), I wouldnt bother to have the rights stripped. But we’re just not, either its becoz of corrupt leaders geting riches for themselves or becoz of malay traits. What would you say if the indons/banglas have the same right as yours, or your are stripped of your rights until you are similar to indons/banglas. That is our thought as malay too. Just let these sensitive sentiment things stays as it is for the moment. We should try new government, new leaders, in the hope that distribution of wealth is fair to everyone.
First of all a big SALUTE to all the participants who took part in the rally yesterday…U all r the real Indians..Proud of u all..
Although all of u face some difficulties n pressure from all side not to took part but its really happy to c all of u overcome the obstacles n shows that we Indian are fearless and gutsy in in fighting for our rights..
Keep up with the spirit…
LONG LIFE HINDRAF!
God Bless all Indians..!

jangan undi BN. Tak guna punya parti la itu lagi baik sokong Udhaya Kumar. Samy vellu langsung tak guna punyai orang isteri **** apa guna isteri pun tak hormat dia. suruh itu samy jaga anak dia dulu
I m a malaysian living in Canada. I and my fellow friends here(malaysians)think that Datuk Samy Velu is good for nothing. He should step down ASAP.He has never done anything good for our indian community and also he’ll not be doing anything in the near future. He’s good to blab.If he would have done something before, we indians will be somewhere now.So he has to be blamed for all our ill treatment and descrimination in Malaysia.I strongly suggest that we should all support Mr Uthayakumar and his team who have gone through all this way to seek justice for us…
yes… perhaps those who are joining hindraf will go back to their hometown “india” and make their house from tanah liat and get paid for salary rm1.00 a day
To all malaysian indians and especially for Datuk Samy Velu…Since Samy Velu has been in power..What did he do for us (indians)?.As I could remember, he said that he came from a very poor background and he travelled all the way to Australia to have a new ******* hair style..damn blady wig and he desires to have more than one wife, illegitimate kids which he doesn t know…All this while being in power: indians became poor where else he became fat and ugly.On top of it filling his own bank balance…If he wants a chance to repent now is the best time to step down.If not he’s going to obese n die of high cholestrol and heart attack…Samy Velu we hope that u ll make the right choice..because i’ m an indian and you are one too.. I care and love you so much…beyond any limits so act quick!!!!
Because i don’t have the rights in my own country, I have to come to Canada to have a better future.I’m a political Science Stud in local university here..Education is a key to success and they took that away from me by not giving me a chance to pursue my ambition in my own birth country(Malaysia)..which is totally unfair. No doubt, that i’m happy in Canada.I still want to support my fellow friends and family members back home.HINDRAF my good wishes and god bless your mission!!!Heads off!!!!!!!
BN bodoh la. Ramai rakyat miskin. Yang kaya terus kaya. Yang miskin terus miskin. Yang sederhana, mcm mau mati aja idup. Semua harga naik. Gila punya BN. Bengong! Kalau tak pun kurangkan aje cost of living skrg ni. Too high god damn it! Elektrik naik, air naik, tol naik, Minyak naik, gas naik. Semua bende naik. Bengong! We should not vote BN for the next generation election. I pray that we have a military coup. So that Malaysia will go in ruins and reset and restart all over again. So all become fair again. The rich people should give all they money and property to the poor and mediocre. Kill all the rich hags and our stupid leaders!
woi kelingparia! kau ni gile ke apa! Biar la diaorg nk minta 10 trillion pun dari British government. Aku pun nk join sekali mintak 1 trilion utk diri aku. Boring la duk miskin begini. Bengong punya kerajaan! Senang2 suruh aje bill gate bagi dia punya harta kat kita org. Habis cerita. Negara kita byk corruption. Yg keje kerajaan goyang kaki. Gaji keje kerajaan tinggi, tapi keje macam sial. Bodoh la semua pekerja kerajaan. Yang kita ni keje swasta, mcm nk hidup segan, mati tak mau. Nak naik gaji ntah kiamat 14 kali pun belum tentu naik gaji. Bengong punya negara. Full of bullshit.
the rally on 25 Nov 2007, made me proud to say I am Indian. Non Indians would have realized that Indian could get united. All the while, samy vellu had been a leader without concern about the own makkal. He and “frens” would be statisfied with BN as long as BN could fulfill their “own stomach”. Indian makkal had been cheated and betrayed by their leaders. Time to wake up for a better generation.
TQ for HINDRAF
MP: edited for threatening words.
dear daboo, do you want to make malaysia like the next bosnia herzegovina where 13 mei 1969 starts all over again. Where Malay kill Indian, Indian kill Malay, Malay kill Chinese, Chinese kill Malay, Indian kill Chinese, Chinese kill Indian. I hope this happen. because our country is so boring. Haven’t seen any action since a long time ago. I’m ready to **** and be ****. Stupid british empire and its queen. Stupid malaysia and its current PM. I want 1 trillion to be givin to everyone. Not just Indian. But Malay, Chinese and all other ethic or races. With the only condition that you need to either be poor or earning less than 2000 below. Those who earn 2000 above should be *** with a ******. Bang! Headshot!
Tony fernandez should take over Semi Value! 🙂

MP: can you provide the source as well? i can’t find it. will post in the blog if got source.
Folks,
This is the official response from the Selangor state govt on the Padang Jawa issue. Read it and understand the real issue and don’t get emotional unnecessarily and don’t get conned by HINDRAF’s lies.
Sekian, terima kasih

Tamilarkale, naam vetri namathu uzhaipil. Never i hv seen my community gathered in non abusive manner and demanded their need just like The Mahatma did. We know the press & there are some media trying to tarnish our contribution by using opposite things that happen. They forgot The God is watching & all our hard effort is judgeable and there should be a positive gift for all our Tamilan

Malaysia Indian unite
Fellow Malaysian India, I think Malay should summoned British, ask for 1000 times of your claim. 25/11 mark as an evidence of the long hauling damage you have done !
“Now, in 1955 we won the elections with a great majority. Then we obtained freedom in two years time. During this period, we had to discuss citizenship and various other things. Now, what did the Malays do – since we are speaking on racial lines – what did the Malay leadership do? They had 88 percent of the electorate still with them. What did they do with citizenship? If we look around in Asia and in East Asia, particularly, you will find that my race the Indian race, is not welcomed in Ceylon, is not welcomed in Burma. Look at my brother Chinese race, it is not welcomed in Thailand, in Vietnam, in Cambodia, in all the other areas. What help do they get for citizenship in all these territories? In Burma, as we know, Indians have been send packing, in Ceylon they refused them citizenship and in Burma it is likewise. I know it, you know it. And yet in Malaya what happened? Here, we found that the Malay leadership said, “We shall take them unto ourselves as brothers, we shall give them full opportunity to live in this country, we shall give them every opportunity to become citizens”. And so, in 1957, for the whole year, we waived language qualifications, and tens of thousands of Indians, Chinese, Ceylonese and others became citizens.”[ii]
fair is not equal rights fair is to put something at it right If we don’t like dhimmocratic Malaysia, why don’t we try to migrate back to our motherland? Judging by what was posted by Indians in this forum, I don’t think India is any better than dhimmocratic Malaysia. One might argue that India has very large Muslim population. But China has large Muslim population too though not as many as India.what i want to said try use our brain and eye look around be graful
Sekian, terima kasih

Dear all,
I hope we can all be patient and do not take matters in our own hand
all these comments on racism will just raise more anger and might even trigger riot or even war. I dont think we want to end up like pakistan or iraq who are fighting among themselves
I’m sure you guys could discuss this with the authority and overcome this problem without having to create a racism comments. I’m always grateful that I’m living in this country instead of Iraq or Pakistan, or even Thailand
At least, when I’m walking down the street I only need to be scared of pickpocket or snatch thief. Even if I did become a victim of any of these crime, and I’m happen to be walking in the street I can be sure that there are others who will help me.no matter what race they are
But now that everyone was raising this issue, we are now eying each other with suspiciousness. We are no longer could put trust on others from different races. Why? Because we are raising all these comments on racism
I have no objection at all in the matter of u guys trying to obtain ur right, but please dont involve the race issue
One more thing, regarding the rally even the Malays who plan on rallying in Jln Istana last week were arrested. So its really not a matter of race
Please, I think we would really like to live in peace
Dear Indian
I’m so proud born like indian and die like indian..
We prove what we done y’day…Dear HINDRAF All penang indian citizen support what ever saturation..
polis tried to KILL indians gathered near gleneagles, they blocked both sides of the roads and start shooting with tear gas and water canon, crowd has no where to go and at last use force to get out. This is total brutal act by the polis clearly wants to KILL the indians. Same happened in Batu caves they were locked inside the temple the gates was closed and the hit by tear gas and water canon. How could they get out ? HINDRAF supported was forced to use FORCE to save their lives. DONT READ AND LISTEN TO LOCAL NEWSPAPER AND NEWS CHANNEL!!!!!!!!
I am not an Indian. Yet I can relate to the issues raised, and the demonstration made by Hindraf. It really made me wished that we did had NEP. But rather address the most needy first.
As a Malaysian, I support Hindraf and their goals.
i will support 100% for hindraf .pls donnot giveup
MP: my comment is not just rely on the local papers. i think they are the ones that will start riots soon with the very provocative words. when i read the star, i really fell upset with the rally attendees. imagine what others will feel. but when i see the photos in the internet and eyewitness account (from trustworth dear friends), i am shocked with what the star wrote. now..let’s not even talk about nst, bh, utusan etc. i understand the the media are under regulation and can be suspended anytime anyday. but if they want to write a one-sided report, might as well dont write anything.
I would just like to say I was appalled at the escalation of matters as were displayed by protesters in their demonstration on 25/11.
Destruction of public/private property, unruly behaviour and violent tendencies. These are not the way to put forward issues. As a Malaysian, I am ashamed and also sadden to see such behaviour. I applaud the ideals of one Joseph Raj in his comments and opinions on the matter in The Star.
Indians like many other minority races should work together more closely as a community and not place blame on all ills and problems on the government. Citizenship is also a privilege, such a relationship with the government is a 2-way street. Many other races and communities are just as disenfranchised as the Indians in their local standing in Malaysia. Some of us all feel minoritised by the government in certain ways, but we strive even harder in such adversities and pull together as a community.
Before blaming someone else on the problems you are suffering today, perhaps one should look at what Indians as a community can do for itself to better their situation. Most Chinese schools in the country are privately funded because they recognize the need for a better education to better their situation. To say “Indians in Malaysia” are oppressed and disenfranchised is a very limited view of the situation. I have known, respected, and worked with many great men and women of Indian origin in my years of work. I will be the first to admit that the situation does require some attention to improve matters and mend relationships on that front. But think of all the successful and powerful Indians that have done and achieved so much for their country as well, they have worked through the same dire conditions and through their perserverence have exceeded on all expectations of what Malaysians can achieve. I think it is wrong to be incited by a few, most with their own personal agendas, into taking an unruly stand. We do not resort to violence and anarchy one day and start waving posters of Gandhi the next, the epitome of peaceful demonstration.(passive resistance)
To accept citizenship is to accept the laws of which govern all the citizens in the country, in spite of race, colour or creed. The government should not and cannot meet demands just because a large mob gathers to demand such with force, this amounts to proper extortion.(Or much like a rebellion) Make yourselves matter, but not by grabbing and forcing others to give you what you need. Instead, work towards a better sustainable future for yourselves. And if anything choose the leaders that will work for you, and by a concerted effort to improve the “Indian Situation”. I do not claim to know or fully understand all the ills and sufferings the Indian community might unjustly suffer. But there is always a choice in your actions, and such actions will tell to others of the integrity of you as a people.
And the choice is to be The Justified Person or The Unruly Thug?
I hope for the better future of us all, Indian, Chinese, Muslims, and all. And part of that future cannot and must not be achieved through violence. Government and people alike have to start working together as a community and not differentiate between the races but rather build towards a single national identity.
“I am not just Indian/Chinese/Muslim, but more importantly, I am a Malaysian.”
