MIC asks 7 percent for indians in civil service

For all categories. They are getting smart now. But should have asked for 10 percent. I think government jobs will provide stability that may encourage couples to have more than 2 children. MIC also will monitor it seems. Hopefully they will share their findings from time to time.

The Cabinet has given an assurance that more Indians will be recruited into the civil service in the near future, Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr. S.Subramaniam said today.

He said the cabinet and the government were committed to ensuring that more applications by Indians would be approved based on their job descriptions and merit.

“The MIC urges the Public Service Commission (PSC) to ensure a minimum intake of at least seven per cent for all job categories in the public service,” Subramaniam, who is also MIC secretary-general, said in a statement here.

He said the MIC was monitoring the intake of Indians into the civil service and would raise the matter from time to time to ensure that the seven per cent target was achieved.

Meanwhile, Samy Vellu says they will request for more Indians in the Public Services Commission (Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam – SPA). He was unhappy that only 105 Indians were selected for jobs.

He said the MIC would also request for more Indian representation in the Public Services Commission.

“We are also not satisfied that only 105 Indians of the 2,000 Indians called for interviews by the Public Services Department were selected. Their selection was based on their CGPA grades. We feel the PSD should have also considered their SPM/STPM results.”

I do not understand why we beg for 7% !
Are we not Malaysain citizen ! I’m wondering now ….

Goverment shall look everyone as citizen and job allotment must be alocate not based on race and religous.
They must based on educational qualification. This is the reason we are far behind in term of customer satisfaction.
Comapared to private sector , we did not emphasize on this …. I have seen new trend goverment putting presure on private comapny to hire more Malays. An example previously HR post is open to everyone but now msotly filled by Malay

MIC as Indain channel for existing goverment must said we want and we request/ask …. Don’t ask , said we desire . MIC pls increase ur voice and oppostion MP (exp Indian) tabulate this issue in the parliment and ensure we gain the result. No pain no gain
Pls do it in more approriate manner. Don’t show ur talent in speach but in action.

This is the time for Malaysian no matter race and religous , demand for our
needs. Don’t talk about the right but let we focus on the need.

If MIC can obtain this , definately the will be another party will unhappy
which is Hindraf and Opposition. Why people will support MIC.
Basically I can see that Hindraf and Opposition want MIC and MIC want Hindraf & Opposition to fail… in every action. This is the major problem between Indian (Nande Kathe)
Finally who fail in overall ….. Indian and who gain ……. very small groupr of YES man Indian , Chinese DAP , Malay PKR n UMNO
This is what happen in GE12

Now 5 state is rulling by oppostion and how many Indian has been assign and hire by the state goverment if caompare to before.
They only cover Indian eye with some puppet post such as in Penang , Perak and Selangor

Let we back to topic (soory to divert) , I’m not sure why MIC is demanding for 7% ! Is this sufficent enough or just based on personal feeling
We shall have some statistical data or historical data before we start to demand. If hav e then good pls publish to public and let people know the fact.
It is responsible for goverment to review the data and any action or proposal that outcome must be address accordingly and not hurt any race.
Must think out of the box and the result will benefit entire malaysian citizen.

Last but not least
I ‘m very upset with MP (exp Opposition) behaviour in parliment (house of courteously)
Opposotion must show the good example bcz they said that BN MP are not MPlike. If they also show the same thing then what is the diffrent !
We rakyat wnat MP to adress internal issue and taclke in more systematic approach
If they can talk and review our existing global and internal issue , definately we can improve accordingly. But thier focus in get attention is become top pririorty then solving and taclking internal issue.
If rakyat cant think this manner why the respective YB MP can’t think advance.
Provebial;
Don’t wasted our time for those wasted years
faced up and realized that we are living in the golden years.
