Anyway, its been “several months” since the 7 issues were highlighted, and all the community got so far is reassurances and promises that temples won’t be demolished, and public holiday for Thaipusam in KL and Putrajaya. Nothing related to the 7 issues, are they?

At other times, I think about one quarter of the attendees did not clap whenever he mentioned something important. Maybe the attendees were too old (well, the TV3 and BERNAMA news clips showed quite a number of old people in the crowd) and have to reserve their energies. He said what does one or two months waiting will do since they (authorities) waited for 3 years.

They need more clout to fight their causes, especially things like the removal of “indian muslim” race from the IC by Registration Dept . I’m no expert in race/ethnic studies, but i think there’s no such race called “indian muslim”. definitely the religion part does not make up a race in modern times.
