Got this letter via email. The little girl, Vwaishhnavi, who was supposed to give roses to PM during Roses for PM campaign (Valentine week) is now targetting the King. There’s also a mention of special “request”. The PM rejected the idea of attending any HINDRAF function. The King will take the same stance I guess. Used to be that developers and some authorities offer alternative sites next to water tanks, sewerage/treatment ponds, garbage disposal area, remote corners or near cemeteries. Now ministry provides site at road reserve. Superb! » Read more: Temple site at road reserve

Manoharan must be sworn-in within six months after the general election, or forced to lose his seat and face a by-election

Manoharan wants to be sworn in like the others, but all signs indicate it will be done at the detention camp. Selangor MB gives a differing opinion that “Mano will be sworn in the Dewan” meaning there are plans to get him released. But this must be done in 6 months time (4 1/2 more left).

HINDRAF goes to United Nations

Hindraf kind of failed when it approached India since the central goverment is not so interested to meddle with issues affecting the Indian diaspora. Tamil Nadu was more supportive, but not good enough. Now, it goes to UN. » Read more: HINDRAF goes to United Nations
