Well, after Syed Hamis insulted Gerakan indirectly by saying government will not listen to political parties when asked about releasing the 5 Hindraf ISA detainees, Samy Vellu throws his weight and asks the government to release 4 out of the 5 detainees. He specifically mentions that one of the is sick while another has been elected as assemblyman. 2 others are not much involved in the rally organisation. 125 years old temple in danger

This temple in Shah Alam has been applying for land the last 40 years and nothing happened. I guess another one of MIC’s achievement. And the MIC bloke from Kuala Langat got the guts to ask us what they have not done for the community! I would not be surprised if the temple was demolished if Khir Toyo was still in charge after March 8.

And the Indian community, having shown the door to MIC, is still approaching Indian EXCO to solve problems instead of the EXCO in charge of the problem area. Perhaps the community is still shackled with the racial chain deeply ingrained in them by years of racial politics. We can expect the support from the Indian community for the government to continue sliding downwards if the hearing problem is not rectified. As Lim Kit Siang challenged, would the Gerakan, MCA and MIC ministers and MPs talk “behind doors” or openly to demand for release of the 5 people?
