Last 20 years = RM30 million

9th MP = RM46 million (but not specifically mentioned in the 9th MP)

Last week = RM20 million (is this part of the RM46 million?)

Additionally Rm16.2 million for partially aided schools (is this part of the RM46 million?).

If we total up everything, we get  Rm112 million for the last 20 years and up to end of 9th Malaysian Plan (2010). We can round it up to Rm150 million for those ad-hoc expenses and allocations. So, Rm150/22 years = RM6.8million per year.

after all the brouhaha over KIMMA joining PPP, now we know KIMMA have a crisis. a person who claims to be President and who was kicked out of KIMMA is the one who made the initial statement.

KIMMA has made its stand that it is ‘100% Muslim party” and would only join UMNO. But isn’t UMNO for Malays only? Why not join MIC? 😆 I mean you can be an Indian and still be a Muslim, no? But you definitely can’t change from an Indian into a Malay overnight. It would take few generations, I guess. » Read more: KIMMA not joining PPP says real president

The two projects will not be in temple compound, so no interference from the temple committee. However, what if the commercial interests of the projects start to overrule Thaipusam celebrations in the future? Having a cultural heritage center near a religious place is fine, but building a recreation and tourism center needs careful planning so as to not blemish or insult the religious place. One would expect people going into religious places to be dress appropriately. As it is, even some of the Indian youths have terrible sense of dressing at Thaipusam. Future developments should not contribute to more breakdown of respect and responsibilities towards place of worship. » Read more: Batu Caves development plans

I have seen Subra a few times so far. The first time was at university, and his perfume had a strong alcohol smell. The second time was in Segamat, at a restaurant. He was with some people having lunch. I can’t recall the third time I’ve seen him, i think it was at some temple or religious function.

Personally, as the call is being made to drop veterans from MIC, I think he should not contest in coming elections. It will be hard for SV to drop veterans and then take in Subra.

Subra tight-lipped about comeback

source

KUALA LUMPUR: Former MIC deputy president Datuk S. Subramaniam’s supporters are on the offensive for their leader’s political comeback. A source from Subramaniam’s inner circle claimed that their leader had met Barisan Nasional’s top leadership on the possibility of contesting a seat. He also claimed the matter had been relayed to MIC president Datuk Seri S. Samy Vellu but there had been no development on the matter. » Read more: subra to make a comeback?
