If the people in power are really concerned about the plight of schools, and can’t do much due to laws and regulations, why not change it? If you can’t help schools located in private lands, then change the rules. Pandithan’s wife to lead IPF

It was highlighted in the media that few weeks back, Pandithan called for all his senior party leaders and made them sign an agreement to let his wife to lead the party when he dies. Some signed due his death wish, while others objected. Anyway, PM announced today he was informed that Pandithan’s wife will be the new (acting?) IPF leader. For how long?

Leaders mourn Pandithan’s passing

Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi today paid tribute to the Indian Progressive Front (IPF) president Tan Sri M.G. Pandithan, saying he was steadfast in his resolve to uplift the life of the down-trodden.  The prime minister said Pandithan was committed in pursuing the cause, thus earning the respect and admiration of his followers.

“He had always shown deep concern on issues concerning low-income earners and poor Indians. “That was his struggle all along and he showed seriousness and dedication. DAP assemblymen cannot speak proper Malay

I guess the speaker said this after the two Indian blokes delivered their motion of thanks in their “Indianised” Malay.

Its a serious problem that even affected MIC and MCA candidates before this.
